Sinharaja Forest Reserve
We'll walk along the footpaths in the forest, spotting out all the plants and animals. You'll see birds, ancient trees, butterflies, snakes, mushrooms, and more endemic species. I'll share interesting facts about them as we go. After our nature walk, we'll be heading to the waterfalls. We can chill out, have lunch, and if you're up for it, take a dip in the waterfall. There's even a chance for some fish therapy! Get ready for a laid-back and friendly journey, exploring the wonders of the Rainforest together.

5.00Enjoyed a great tour of the Sinharaja Rainforest with our local guide Sam. He was very knowledgeable about the trail we took through the beautiful rainforest and looked after us whenever we reached a steep climb. Sam took time to explain various plants and trees and identified several insects that we saw crawling in the trees. We climbed to three stunning waterfalls and dangled our feet in the water so that they could be massaged by the resident fishes. Brilliant 2.5 hour tour and thanks again to Sam for looking after us. Must do activity when visiting Sri Lanka

5.00It was by far the best trip we had in Sri Lanka. Our guide drew our attention to many hidden animals and gave us valuable information about them. If it was a bit slippery on the way, he guided us safely and gallantly over slippery passages.

5.00It was cool to visit the rainforest during heavy rain, an unique experience, the guide show us the animals that live in the rainforest and explained to us every local plant and its usage Strongly suggested, it will be in our memories forever.

5.00Very friendly and insightful guide. Animals and plants. He always allowed us to choose whether we want to wonder around a bit and discover views or continue with our main plan (we always wandered around). It was the jungle experience a wanted!

5.00As a solo female traveler, I had an absolutely fantastic day with Mr. Priyantha as my guide. He has incredible knowledge about both the plants and the wildlife, and you can really feel his passion for nature. The hike is about 9 km and very manageable. Swimming at the waterfall was wonderfully refreshing. We spotted several types of snakes, different lizard species, a big tarantula, and even a little Ceylon monkey. He picked me up and dropped me off safely at my hotel. His wife is also incredibly kind and prepared the most delicious Sri Lankan lunch, along with amazing snacks like roti and special cookies. An unforgettable day — highly recommended!

5.00We had a very nice trip as a couple in Sinharaja Forest Reserve. Our guide was extremely competent and shared many interesting facts about the rainforest. The tour was well organized and very informative. Especially the waterfalls were beautiful and refreshing! We could see much of the fascinating forest life. A small tip: wear suitable footwear, as the paths are partly slippery. We definitely recommend the tour!

5.00Great experience in a beautiful area 🥰 There was a very friendly atmosphere – we hiked up the waterfall, had lunch on the rocks, walked, and explored. We got to experience fairytale-like landscapes and truly soak in the wild nature. Our guide was incredibly kind and professional – highly recommended!
