  My wife and I took this tour with Miguel (Franklin) our guide and he was one of the best tour guides we have had. He perfectly blended history with personal stories. It was one of the highlights of our entire trip. He brought the entire group together so we all learned from each other. As a Sintra native he had great recommendations for the surrounding areas and we ended up some spending some extra time there.

  My fiancée and I decided to book a tour on Viator so we could see Pena Palace, the Initiation Stairwell at Quinta da Regaleira and Copa da Roca, and we couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide than Miguel. Miguel was personable, lively and knew his history. I learned so many things from him during the tour. On top of that, there was a point at which we got lost from the group at Quinta da Regaleira and Miguel was persistent in helping to locate us and continue with the tour. And I really appreciated how timing/logistics worked with everything. The day was an early start but we ended up avoiding the large crowds at Pena Pace and by the time we were at Initiation Stairwell shortly after, there was no line at all. Would definitely recommend this tour to you!

  Miguel ( Bruno) was great. Very knowledgeable about the sights and the history. Good English and Spanish. Personable and friendly. Went out of his way to make sure everyone was taken care of. Organized but gave us enough time to explore and shop. Great driver.

  Bruno is a tour guide pro! You will have a fabulous time on this tour with Bruno. You get to see many great sights with the perfect amount of time at each stop, with excellent recommendations. Ten out of Ten! (traveled with 11 yo and 14 yo - and they both loved it too.)

  Miguel was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. His love for his country was evident and he shared his knowledge with us. He was happy to answer any questions and give recommendations. Great tour!

  I was very pleased to meet the Palace of Pena. with all the interior furniture of the time practically original. The park around with its eucalyptus scent was a beautiful surprise apart. The view is splendid.

  This was a wonderful tour. Our guide, Miguel, was very informative and did a great job! We got to see so much. We didn't stay too long at anyone place, but it gave us the opportunity to see many of the sites and to spend a little time at each. Be prepared for a little hiking/hill climbing. It was more strenuous than we anticipated, but well worth it. I highly recommend this tour rather than trying to navigate it all by yourself.
