We will take you to Sisi's beautifully renovated historical palace just outside of Budapest. Your driver will pick you up, drive you to the palace and take you back to your hotel. In the hotel, the newly updated audio guide system will tell you all the interesting stories and secrets of the palace. The most convenient and easy way to discover this story-filled gem is to take this tour. You also get to try Sisi's favorite cake and coffee at the end of your visit!

Royal Palace of Godollo
Take a peek into the life of the very well known royal couple, Sisi & Franz Joseph. After picking you up at your accommodation we will take a short ride to this beautiful town, called Gödöllő, where we can find this hidden gem just outside of our capital. The palace survived more than 3 centuries filled with historical turning points. Historical traditions, a variety of cultural events and its wonderfully restored, uniquely impressive complex and surroundings make the Palace one of the most attractive and exciting buildings and institutions in Hungary. You also might get to try Sisi's favorite cake!

5.00A lovely short trip. The palace is a bout half an hour drive from Budapest center. Our driver was very courteous and arrived on time. Your driver will drop you at the entrance of the palace and purchase the tickets for you. Then you can take audio-guided tour through the palace. It was surprisingly a nice walkthrough with lots of history, not only focused on Sisi but also on previous owners of the palace and the Hapsburgs in general.

5.00My husband and I had a wonderful time at Godollo with our guide, Denny. He knew Habsburg history inside and out, and he took time to show us unique corners and places in the palace. I loved the delicious "Sisi's cake" at the end of the tour. If we are in Budapest again, I would want Denny to be our guide. Highly recommend.

5.00Daniel was great! This was perfect start to our European holiday. We got the chance to get outside of Budapest and he graciously dropped us off in the Castle District, after giving us instructions on how to get back to our hotel. Much appreciated!

5.00Daniel was the best guide we have had so far. He went above and beyond in helping us. He never rushed us. Sisi's Castle was interesting and worthwhile. All in all, a very enjoyable 3.5 hours.
