Trango Adventure has a long track record of organizing Trekking in Pakistan. We have had groups successfully completed K2 and Gandogoro Trek on previous occasions. We designed our itinerary based on over 40 Years of experience, which is the best in terms of acclimatization, safety and enjoyment. It is our intention to keep to the day by day itinerary detailed below, although there might be some flexibility due to local conditions or other factors beyond our control. If this is the case the trek leader will do everything possible to work out the changes to the itinerary in order to minimize your inconvenience.
Adventure travel requires an open and flexible attitude. You may experience extreme conditions, unpredictable weather and last-minute changes to the itinerary beyond our control. The ability to work in team is an important aspect of all of our trips.

Skardu is the capital city of Baltistan region so there is so much to see and explore.

Travel to Khapulu along the Indus River, pass through small villages to arrive in Khaplu. Khapllu is the second biggest city of Baltistan.

The Main Attraction in Khaplu are the ex- royal family residency, Chaqchan Mosque and the local Bazar.

Shigar Valley
Today we will travel back to Skardu visa Shigar. Shigar is the getaway to K2, and other 8000 meters peaks. Have lunch in Shigar then head to Skardu for night stay.

After Breakfast we will head towards Chillas. We will continue our journey along the Indus River until the junction of Gilgit River, then follow Gilgit river on the Karakoram Highway to Chillas town. There is no Tourist Attraction in Chillas. We will stay in Chillas for the night. Along the way we will do few stop for tea breaks and lunch.

5.00It was an excellent trip; we explored the northern side of Pakistan, and one of the best moments was at Skardu, where we enjoyed ourselves a lot. It didn't cost that much.

5.00Being from Lahore we always wanted to see Snow and experience the winter season of the Skardu and the Other valleys in Baltistan. After going though some tour companies profiles, we selected Trango Adventure as they seems to be the most experienced local company. We flew from Islamabad to Skardu Airport. Flight to Skardu was a 45 minute long with Fantastic mountain vistas. You will not see a mountain view like this anywhere else in the world. I must give credit to the hard working Civil Aviation guys for keeping the runway dry and clear of snow in the winter when temperatures was Minus 20 and whole Skardu valley was full of snow. Our guide Abbas was waiting for us at Skardu airport, after meet and greet he transfer us to Summit Hotel In Skardu. We spent 4 days in Skardu, visiting Sadpara lake, Shigar fort, Upper kachura lake and Khaplu valley. We had a wonder time in Skardu, Thanks to Trango Adventure and their friendly staff. All the best guys.

5.00Fantastic. Really good guides and very flexible to my requirements. They were very helpful when my flight got changed. Only work on point would be to give more detail in the suggested itinerary. However, that's absolutely minor and still rated 9.5/10
