The art of Falconry was introduced to Europe through caravans from Persia and Arabia, where this technique of hunting is still practiced today. Experience a close encounter with majestic birds of prey at the Falconry in Locarno, where you will be able to observe and photograph eagles, hawks, owls and vultures. These beautiful birds, flying free, will lead you into a dimension where man and nature meet, in a natural and animal friendly place. Enjoy the breathtaking show! Come and visit us any time. We provide sheltered seating, both for the sunny summer days or the few rainy ones! All opening days, show with birds of prey of about 1 hour are held at 11am and 3pm. The tribune houses 600 seated guests.

Show is great and very impressive! Animal-friendliness questionable. Animal husbandry in rather small cages probably no longer meets modern standards. Restaurant was significantly worse than we would have expected based on the comments - have waited 45' for a pizza. Staff restaurant unfriendly.

Show raptors really very nice, fly a few centimeters from you, friendly and prepared falconers, very nice and clean structure. There is a Pic Nic area and park parking close to a few francs... recommended!

A wonderful few hours, explanations in german and italian on the birds. Even an extra showman on a horse to close up. Worth another visit. Easy to get to by bus and then a short walk. Bathrooms, ice cream and restaurants on site.

A great and impressive bird of prey show! The animals are treated warmly and the show is commented on in Italian and German. The restaurant serves excellent meals. Especially the pasta is highly recommended. We booked a photo shoot. These shoots are very expensive, but are done very friendly and patient. In the end, we received printouts of some photos, but also nearly 350 digital photos. Therefore, I would also recommend these. The age of the children (weight of the bird) was taken into account for the birds.
