5.00Always skeptical at booking these things before you even get to the country visiting, but so glad we did. Email updates regularly and the team were very efficient. We met at the meeting point where abouts 4 other tours were leaving from. One member of staff directed us to the correct group leader for our trip and they had our names ready to check-off. We got our earphones kit and checked it was all working etc. The coach to Pompeii was high quality, comfortable and with A/C. Max was a laugh leading the transfers giving information all along the ride there, which was calm and comfortable, not like the horror stories of Italian driving! Getting to the entrance point of Pompeii a different member of staff had collected our tickets and getting in was easy, no queing. Patricia, our guide was also great, very informative and kept the pace around the large (and hot!) site at an easy pace, full of information they you just wouldn't appreciate if you didn't have a guide, throwing in the jokes to keep us laughing. I would definitely recommend this trip. There was maybe a 5min wall k to the bus from the meeting point in Sorrento centre, an hour or so to get there (setting off at 07:30 ish) and a 2 hour or so tour without too many other visitors blocking views/photos and sights. Returning the same way.

5.00This was an amazing experience starting with a smooth check in and trip to the location with guide Nello. Once at the Pompeii site, guide Vincenzo took us through a two and a half hour trip to the past. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient as he navigated our large group through the ruins while occasionally mixing with other people. Overall a very worthwhile experience.

5.00Pompeii tour was a great half day adventure and loved skipping-the-line. It’s worth it. The ruins are something to see and the museum at the end an added touch. You could feel the history.

5.00Excellent choice for us from Sorrento. Easy to find the great, bubbly, funny guide Nicolette at the main office in the heart of Sorrento. From there we took a short walk to our air conditioned coach bus that transported us to Pompei (about an hour). Scenic ride and tour guide kept it lively! Just loved her. When we arrived at Pompei we came in a back gate and truly was Skip the Line. We walked right in. We were on a very early morning tour (7:30 am) so the crowds were much lighter. I recommend going early to beat the crowds and heat. There is no shade there. We were split into 2 groups and another guide took over for the Pompei portion. Our guide was great. He was knowledgeable and took us on a route that we didn’t see the crazy crowds until the very last 20 minutes or so. Didn’t feel rushed. Took lots of photos. If you haven’t been to Pompei I highly recommend a tour. It’s not a small area and I think I would have been overwhelmed trying to navigate and figure out what is what and where am I and what should I be seeing here. Worth it to Skip the Line and be guided. Leaving directly from Sorrento and not having to board the local train to get to Pompei to find a guide was so much more relaxed. Our Sorrento guide Nicolette met us at the end of our journey thru Pompei and our air conditioned bus was waiting to transport us back to Sorrento. Excellent experience that I highly recommend.

5.00Great Pompeii tour. We had Nelo, for our guide to Pompeii and Giovanni as our driver. Nelo gave us some history on our bus trip and was entertaining. When we got to Pompeii we had a different tour guide for the actual tour. She was good as well. We hit all the major things to see without too much crowd. Overall a great tour.

5.00Amazing trip. Easy to take a bus from Sorrento. We got into Pompeii before most if the crowds and had time to get some pictures and walk around before it got busy. Lulu our guide was fantastic. She shared great information and details. Highly recommend this tour.
