Hofburg tickets (Sisi Museum & Imperial Apartments) include timed entry to skip the ticket line.

The corridors in the Sisi Museum are narrow, crowded and loud, so you will need to stay close to the guide.

2025: Sisi Museum is under renovation, so access to certain rooms and exhibitions is restricted.

Free entry to courtyards, Heldenplatz & Burggarten.

The gardens are not green or lit in winter—book a morning tour or visit in spring, summer or autumn. For guest safety, if the weather is bad (e.g. snowy day), we will offer an alternative route. From 08.11 to 31.12, you will have a chance to visit a local Christmas Market instead.

Super interesting to learn about this history. The tour was super informative and enjoyable. The tour guide was goodish. She was dealing with some challenges, some self inflicted (like not having spare headphones if one broke) and some poor planning (Japanese couple who didn’t realize it was an English tour and she spent a ton of time trying to figure that out). All that being said, interesting and one of the highlights of the trip.

Amazing guide. Mirko (hopefully I had his name right) was so enthusiastic, entertaining and talented. Just a wonderful, delightful experience. He is perhaps the best guide I have ever encountered during my travels. He had the entire group in splits with his oratory, jokes, acting and sound effects…. Highly recommend him as your guide…

Our guide Alex was an art professor and very detailed which was great for those that wanted that much information but made the tour much too slow for us. We had already been on tours for a week so we were drowning in information already. So should have booked differently. He referred to himself in 3rd person which was odd. And didn’t like us talking at all. It did give us access to the museum and grounds but would have preferred to just do it with audio guides.
