Hofburg tickets (Sisi Museum & Imperial Apartments) include timed entry to skip the ticket line.
The corridors in the Sisi Museum are narrow, crowded and loud, so you will need to stay close to the guide.
2025: Sisi Museum is under renovation, so access to certain rooms and exhibitions is restricted.
Free entry to courtyards, Heldenplatz & Burggarten.
The gardens are not green or lit in winter—book a morning tour or visit in spring, summer or autumn. For guest safety, if the weather is bad (e.g. snowy day), we will offer an alternative route. From 08.11 to 31.12, you will have a chance to visit a local Christmas Market instead.

5.00We had an excellent tour with Mario. He was so knowledgeable and we learned so much on the tour. He kept our kids engaged throughout the tour! It was such a great time spent and I’m so glad we signed up for it.
False myth

2.0020 euros for this visit, go for it. The only thing worthy of note are the rooms where almost all reproductions of jewelry clothes etc... Beautiful location. I had already visited this attraction years ago, and having now more awareness I realized the false myth built by the cinema around a fragile and perpetually depressed person who was Empress.

5.00Mario our tour guide was fantastic. The Palace is beautiful and well worth a visit. The SiSi museum is also very interesting and the guided tour is worth it.
Don't go is a FRAUD

1.00Please don't go, the operator's organization, Rosotravel, is a complete mess. The meeting point is completely overcrowded with people and the operator has nothing to identify him. We were on time at the meeting point and had to ask all the guides who were there if they belonged to Rosotravel. In the end, we never located him and contacted him via Viator chat to what he told us were waiting for us 5 min at the meeting point, where we were and never appeared, a COMPLETE FRAUD. After requesting a refund from Viator, the operator magically showed up to offer us a tour at 1:30 pm or the next day. Which we rejected since we had bought in the same palace for only €40 (for two people) the tickets with audio guide. Unfortunately Viator was also not responsible and they did not return the money. I have put a star to leave this comment in order to make it useful for other people.

5.00First, our guide was wonderful! He was polite, respectful, knowledgeable and very knowledgeable. He shared information during the tour that we never would have known had we done the tour without a guide. He made sure all of the group was comfortable and treated each as if we were friends. He made this a great experience and made us feel valued as patrons. Great job!
