Hofburg tickets (Sisi Museum & Imperial Apartments) include timed entry to skip the ticket line.
The corridors in the Sisi Museum are narrow, crowded and loud, so you will need to stay close to the guide.
2025: Sisi Museum is under renovation, so access to certain rooms and exhibitions is restricted.
Free entry to courtyards, Heldenplatz & Burggarten.
The gardens are not green or lit in winter—book a morning tour or visit in spring, summer or autumn. For guest safety, if the weather is bad (e.g. snowy day), we will offer an alternative route. From 08.11 to 31.12, you will have a chance to visit a local Christmas Market instead.

2.00Our tour guide was a little late, but once he arrived he was full of energy, very nice, and a funny gentleman. He was very charming and this review is not a reflection of him. He did wonderful….i just feel that the Sisi museum would be better explored on your own. The first half of the museum is in veryyyyyy tight spaces and it’s really not conducive to having a tour of 10 or more people. It was hard to get to the items he was talking about because there was no room to move around and stand when accounting for the others in your tour and others not in your tour. The Sisi museum opens up a bit when you get into the different living quarters….but they have an audio guide and I just feel that it would have been a better experience to use a guided tour elsewhere around the city….not in the Sisi Museum.
