No luggage storage for bags, extra clothing etc. Pets are not allowed.
Hofburg tickets (Sisi Museum & Imperial Apartments) include timed entry to skip the ticket line.
The corridors in the Sisi Museum are narrow, crowded and loud, so you will need to stay close to the guide.
2025: Sisi Museum is under renovation, so access to certain rooms and exhibitions is restricted.
Free entry to courtyards, Heldenplatz & Burggarten.
The gardens are not green or lit in winter—book a morning tour or visit in spring, summer or autumn. For guest safety, if the weather is bad (e.g. snowy day), we will offer an alternative route. From 08.11 to 31.12, you will have a chance to visit a local Christmas Market instead.

5.00Thorough and full of historical reference. Excellent knowledge of all aspects of the history and world of the Hapsburg family as well as many anecdotal stories depicting their daily life and the life of the court. Mario was incredibly knowledgeable as well as personable and lovely. It made what could have been a bland self guided experience come to life. The only way to go!

1.00The confirmation email did not include a meeting spot for start of tour. The phone number and email in the confirmation email did not work. Got a WhatsApp message about meeting point 1 hour after tour was to start. Tried to contact Viator and there was no international phone number listed or any link for live chat support. Totally disappointed that I missed a highlight tour that I had been looking forward to since tickets for the day were sold out and I departed Vienna early next morning. Viator need to ensure that contracted guide services are consistent with communication and confirmation information.

5.00We really enjoyed our tour with Janka! We had to pivot a bit due to diplomats visiting the Hofburg. She didn't miss a beat. She took us by the Spanish Riding School and in another entrance. No problem. Great tour!
