St. Peter's Basilica is an active parish and therefore subject to last-minute closures due to mass or other religious events. In these cases, we will offer an extended tour of the Vatican Museums (including areas normally not part of the tour). No refunds are issued for unexpected closures.
All participants (including under 18s) must bring valid ID.
All participants MUST cover their knees and shoulders during visits to religious sites, the Vatican Museums included. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements.
Please notice that we are not responsible for the number of visitors the Vatican Museums allow inside.
Large umbrellas are not allowed, please leave these at your accommodations.
Your tour voucher is valid only for the day and time reserved. We’re unable to accommodate late arrivals due to a strictly timed entrance ticket to the Vatican Museums. Missed tours or tickets due to late arrivals are non-refundable. Please allow extra time to reach the meeting point as Rome's streets can be confusing. Meeting time is 15 minutes before the start time of the tour.
ACCESSIBILITY: While the Vatican Museums are equipped with elevators for wheelchair access, they are not conveniently located on the group tour route and only give access to specific sections of the Museums. As a result, we cannot accommodate wheelchairs or walkers on this tour.

Meeting Point: The meeting point is our office, very close to the Museums' entrance, the exact address is Via Santamaura 14B. The closest Metro stop is Ottaviano. Please allow extra time due to traffic during the summer months! If you do need assistance with how to reach the meeting point, please don't hesitate to contact us.

5.00Mario is very knowledgeable but did our tour in his own way. He asked thought provoking questions (the Socratic method). He used his own book with photos of the Sistine Chapel to explain it all to us instead of crowding in around the other tours looking at the picture signs. Mario has an additional depth of knowledge that he shares if asked for more detail. He also has a good sense of humor that creates a fun vibe the tour. We highly recommend!

5.00Our guide Eugene clearly knew his way around the Vatican and had a vast knowledge about the Popes and buildings and architecture. Pace of the tour was good, measured not rushed. By the end of the tour we had a much better understanding of the place. The vast quantity of statuary and art was amazing and overwhelming.

5.00The Vatican line is extremely long if you try to go on your own. Highly recommend this tour, you get a knowledgeable guide to explain the highlights as you pass through various areas of the city before entering the Sistene Chapel then going a private entry way to the Vatican. Our guide, Marina, was steeped in Vatican history and worked her way around the museum very well. I was pleased with the tour and value received, highly recommend, good value and guide.

1.00Dont book it. Its fraud. The normal line has exactly the same speed/waiting time WE WERE BUYING THIS „SKIP THE LINE TICKETS“ AND WE WERE WAITING IN ANOTHER LINE MORE THAN 1 HOUR. NO JOKE. Petersdom is for my perspective totally overrated. It’s like a oligarch want to show his money to the public. Now I understand Martin Luther, Calvin and Zwingli why they were protesting for several hundred years so much against the financing. And for Catholics: so many people here with tour guides from all over the world that it reminds me more on Babylon. you have no chance to calm down and to pray because there is no room or place in this church for spirituality because it’s so overcrowded. Very sad.

2.00Skip the line was great- able to bypass the long queues. Our admission time to Vatican was 9:30 however we didn’t leave meeting point until after that. We had 14?in our group and some couldn’t follow instructions. . Our guide Emma likes storytelling and was frustrating having to wait for her to finish and move on. We were already late and some of our group got list and we had to keep standing around while our guide tried to find them. She was pretty curt with complaining about other people and not following directions and that it would cost her 70 euros for any headset she didn’t turn back in. Crowds were insane and just felt like hurry up to make up for the standing around time.

5.00We loved our guide Mario! He was amazing, knowledgeable, interesting, funny, calm, very easy to understand (we are from USA). Our guide followed the rules for silence in the Sistine Chapel while many others did not. This was a great way to visit the Vatican museums and St. Peter’s Badilica.

5.00Tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable. The speaker to headset was not user worthy. It crackled a lot and it made it difficult to hear and for the guide to communicate. We loved loved loved the tour.
Mario was knowledgeable, humorous and a pleasure to have as a guide.
