A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements
The Vatican generally quiets down again in the late afternoon, but there is a chance the museums may still be crowded while you are inside
You are advised to be ready at the meeting point up to 15 minutes ahead of the start time to ensure a prompt start. After leaving the meeting point, your guide will bring you inside the Vatican Museums. Since we have a strict entrance time, in case of delays and late arrivals, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to add you to the group. Depending on the size of your group, headphones may be used for some tours. In that case, headphones will be provided. However you may use your own earbuds if you wish

5.0Raffa was a great tour guide. I have done several tours in the past and she was the best! Very knowledgeable and professional she was the best presenter. She was a superb host and speaker.

1.0Vator was not good to work with. For this tour we had to take the train to Rome from our cruise port to get there. The train was delayed by 1 hour and this was out of our control. I called in advance when we were at the train station and asked the tour guys to leave our tickets at the front because we were going to be late. I messaged the tour guys multiple times with no response. When i finally got a response it was understood we would not be part of the tour and they would have to start without us. I asked but they would not leave our tickets at the front entrance. We paid a lot of money for these tickets and could of at least went in on our own. We could of went to one of the other locations as well that were part of this tour but couldn't get in any of the places because we did not have our tickets. I repeatedly called Viator about this matter and they left it up to the tour guys to handle. They would not refund us any money, credit or help to accommodate us. When we got back in the states I contacted Viator multiple times with no resolution. I do feel Viator should of stood behind their name and helped in some way. They are the ones I booked through but said it was up to the 3rd party, tour guys to decide if they could give a credit. I understand we were late but thought a future credit or partial refund or something. I booked several tours with Viator for this trip. Spent over $1500. for the tours. Very dissapointed and wish we would of just purchased our own tickets for the Vatican and the other locations and then we could of went in. I asked to speak to a manager with Viator and was told I would get a call back which never happened.

5.0Super tour guide! She was an art historian and was able to explain everything. Crowds were not too bad. Weather was perfect. Just an amazing day!
