As an adventure-seeker you will simply love this new thrill ride that takes you on the Sky Explorer with the landscape unfolding below to the top of St. Maarten’s highest mountain. Then you’ll go flying back down on the world’s steepest zip line. Embark the Sky Explorer for the approximately 25-minute ride to the top of Sentry Hill, St. Maarten’s highest elevation at 1,125 feet. A series of platforms encircle the mountaintop showcasing 360-degree views of the whole island including vistas of neighboring islands Saba, St. Eustatius, St. Barts and Anguilla. A brief orientation will prepare you to fly down the mountain at speeds of up to 56 miles per hour on the world’s steepest zip line, The Flying Dutchman. You’ll be attached to a flight line in a secure harnessed chair, launching you on the 1050-foot drop in elevation over 2800 feet to experience the ride of a lifetime.

4.00Very nice experience, great views and a nice bar at the top. Just be prepared for the long lines. The staff were very friendly. However, I think th bathroom facilities need some updating/cleaning. Sowey!

2.00After waiting about 30 minutes took a ski lift type to the top. The view was Amazon which is why I didn’t give it 1 star. But whe we actually did take the zip line down it was literally a 30 second ride. Definitely not worth $109 for a 30 second ride. Don’t waste your money. Spend $100 on a jet ski and get a full hour.

3.00Our reservation was for 11:00 and when we got there for 11 we were told it wasn’t opening until 1:00. Also I originally booked for Saturday. They cancelled us so we rescheduled for Sunday. And we were charged twice

1.00We booked the Dutchman Zipline at Rainforest Adventures and were disappointed with the overall experience. We were told the ride itself lasts about 45 seconds, which we were fine with. However, at no point during purchase, on the website, or in the waiver was it disclosed that there would be a wait of over an hour just to access the zipline. After going up and seeing the long wait, we chose not to participate. When we asked for a refund, it was refused. Only then were we told to “plan to spend several hours” on site, which still does not clearly explain that a significant portion of that time may be spent waiting before even starting. For the price, we expected clearer communication. The views are nice, but the experience did not feel like a good value. We would not suggest this as a family activity, and recommend asking about current wait times before spending over $100 per person.
Skip this ride and find somewhere better. Save your money and time

2.00The staff at the gate were unfriendly and unwelcoming. The ride itself was disappointing and the bathroom by the ride was utterly disgusting, the door to the bathroom was literally falling off its hinges

5.00Well laid out event. Be aware that there is a fair amount of standing in line. It's nice that there is a bar up top and restrooms as well.

5.00Don't be in a rush; take your time and take in the views! If you're afraid of heights, try the shorter zip lines first. The big one is awesome, the start of the hill is the scariest. Grab a drink before and scream as loud as you can!

3.00As something was broken or disappeared, the Flying Dutchman could not start for us, which was a pity for us. Still waiting for any sort of compensation.

5.00Wasn’t sure what to expect but enjoyed the views on the ride up and the zipline down. They had a bar at the top to have drinks while you wait to zipline. Beautiful views from the top. Spent a few hrs here and had a blast.
