  Great adventure with Martin! The fairy pools were gorgeous, Dunvegan castle and gardens were incredible, and Portree was so charming. Martin was an encyclopedia of information and a master of telling fairy tales. Mix it all with some humor and his charming personality he created a little “tour bus family” by the time the 13 hour adventure was over. Oh!!! And somehow we saved time and were able to get in a whisky tasting! Wonderful day exploring the Highlands.

  The BEST day trip to Skye I could have possibly booked! Busy and big day but got to fit in almost all bucket list locations between Inverness and on the Isle of Skye. The tour had everything you could have wanted: Scottish History, Castles, Hiking, Scenery, Fairytales, and even a stop off for a Whisky Tasting. Our tour guide Martin was just great! He was so knowledgeable about the local area and beyond, and there were many laughs and so many stories to keep us entertained over the day. High highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to fit in as much as they can in a short space of time. This is the perfect trip!

  We had a great time exploring the Isle of Skye with Karen as our guide and driver on the Isle of Skye - Fairy Pools & Dunvegan Castle tour. Karen provided a wealth of historical knowledge as well as the myths and legends of the Isles and surrounding area. The Fairy pools were the highlight of the tour and were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend.

  We had a terrific time on our Isle of Skye adventure. The weather was perfect for us—misty, cloudy, and magical. Our guide, Torquil, was the perfect person to lead the journey, sharing a wealth of history, legends, and hilarity along the way. I gigled every time he told the story of how simple Scottish place names came to be (Hamish was a genius!). The playlist was spot-on, and the “Torkaraoke” at the end was the perfect finale. Buckle up—it’s a long day, but absolutely worth it. Pack snacks! We had a wonderful group of people to share the adventure with. We did wish we’d had a bit more time in Portree, but we made the most of it. We also added Dunvegan Castle to our tour, and while it was fascinating to see a working castle, the grounds were even more spectacular in mid-May. The rhododendrons were bursting with color, flowers were blooming everywhere, and the gardens were stunning. There was so much to explore, and we only managed to see a small portion of it. If you decide to add the castle tour, plan your timing carefully so you can grab a quick bite and still leave yourself plenty of time to enjoy the gardens! We knew we would see a lot of tourists in the same boat and it didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves! All and all, it was a great tour! Would highly recommend.

  The trip was a joy (plus we were lucky with the weather). Our guide Emily really made a big part of that - with knowledge and humour, making a great atmosphere! Beautiful nature, a good amount of stops, so I feel it was an efficient use of our time packed with experiences! Pleasant group and vehicle size - mini bus (therefore more agile throughout).

  What a great day! Iain was an incredible tour guide. He was thoroughly entertaining and was just bursting with interesting historical tales as well as funny local legends. We saw and learned so much!!! Highest recommendation!!!
