Short bushwalks of 10-45 minutes (weather permitting) require a medium level of fitness over some uneven surfaces and steps.

I don’t normally write reviews but Nigel our tour guide was fantastic! He was friendly, prepared with phone chargers and sunscreen and other things you might have forgotten, and made the day really fun. Great tour - I booked this for the mountains but the animal park was more fun than I was expecting. I’m glad I did this instead of the zoo. Tons of lunch options where we stopped. Choose your own adventure in the mountains based on how much you wanted to/were able to hike. Pickup was seamless. Highly recommend this tour!

Great day for a trip to the blue mountains and animal park. Tour lead by Scottie. Scottie did a fabulous job entertaining the group. Definitely a must visit while in Sydney!

After doing some internet research, I decided to book the earliest tour of the day. Given the opportunity for a re-do, I would book it for a later time. The sun is too harsh in the morning. Unwanted shadows happen on everything from the detailed signs to the hobbit houses. Never-the-less, we arrived bright and early in the little town of Matamata. The drive to Hobbiton was scenic with rolling hills and sheep. Lots and lots of sheep.

Nigel was a very welcoming and attentive guide. The mountains were amazing and the lunch spot had many cute cafes.
