In this groundbreaking day trip, you will get to taste the best of the west of Ireland in just a few hours. Sample south Connemara, explore Inis Oirr (the smallest of the Aran Islands), and take a cruise under the Cliffs of Moher. Coming back onto the mainland, we take in arguably the finest coastal drive in Ireland along the Wild Atlantic Way back up to Galway, along with a couple of various other short stops during the day.
What makes this day trip truly unique is that it is a looped route, so you are experiencing a completely different region of the West of Ireland in every hour that passes. You won’t see the same thing twice!

5.00The bus picked up our small (20ish) size group in a reasonably sized bus at a convenient location in Galway at 9am. Our tour guide, Sorcha, was engaging, friendly and very knowledgeable of the area and its history. Sorcha stopped at some fantastic picturesque places along the route and gave us clear instructions for boarding the ferry and touring Inisheer. The tour was manageable for people with limited mobility or strollers. We had several stops with access to food, drinks and restrooms along the way. The boat tour of the cliffs of Moher was incredible, excellent and impressive views. Pro tip: everyone on the boat will crowd the top deck and the port (left) side of the boat as it drives out to the cliffs. The tour of the cliffs doesn’t start until the boat slows and turns around 180, so be patient and setup on the starboard (right) side of the boat for perfect views. Don’t get frustrated and try to fight the crowd, relax and hang out for the great views. There are several ways to tour Inisheer: walking around (slowest), horse drawn carriage (not much faster), rent bikes (a little faster), or van with a small group and guide (fastest).

5.00This was an excellent tour. Kenny is an amazing tour guide. Was thrilled to find a tour that covers so much in one day. Tour guide went over and above to make fire everyone had a good day. Highly recommend

5.00This was an incredible experience, top to bottom. Sean was an excellent tour guide, taking care to show us all the interesting spots and vantage points, even as far as helping us find a better place to stand on the ferry boat to get the best view. We got lucky and saw dolphins swimming alongside the boat by the cliffs. Sean took a little video of us, watching the dolphins and timed it so they breached the water right as he panned the camera, it was as if he and the dolphins had a deal. Above and beyond! Sean had local connections and got us a horse and buggy tour of the island (secured ahead of time with a call from Sean). After the tour he recommended a bunch of cool places to eat and drink around Galway and all of Ireland. I now have an itinerary for this trip and the next! Such a cool guy. Such a great tour. Best day ever. (Also: try the chowder at the little cafe on the island. As a new englander, I strongly approve of this fish chowder with dill, brilliant.)

5.00Our day with Richie exploring the Burren, the Cliffs of Moher, and the Aran Islands was a joy from start to finish. Richie was very knowledgeable and an excellent guide and host.Seeing the Cliffs of Moher from the sea is breathtaking, and we all said that we would happily come back and spend more time on Inis Oirr - truly a beautiful spot. I strongly recommend this tour.

5.00We did the full day tour which included the Cliffs of Moher and several hours on one of the Aran Islands, Inisheer. Our guide Sean was fantastic! Engaging, informative, funny, and always looking out for us. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the Galway area!

5.00This tour was the best we've had so far, thanks in no small part to our wonderful guide Kenny Jordan. Because of his warmth, authenticity and v enviable people skills, our small group started the day as strangers but ended as friends who extended the experience by having dinner together well after the official tour was over. If Kenny is your tour guide, don't hesitate to go on this tour, you will not regret it!

5.00Appreciated the small group feel & Kenny was a great guide and story teller. Great locations for photography. Highly recommend for those looking for seaside views to see the cliffs & absorb the grandness of the sculpted erosion over time. Inisheer lunch was good too, got a good amount of steps in to break up the ride.
