  My family and I were on a cruise which ported in Bonaire and my wife had booked a dive excursion for me. I didn’t look into the booking until the night prior when I read several reviews. I was very impressed with all of the positive feedback. From the moment I was greeted by the team, I truly felt like I was meeting up with old friends. The individual attention was amazing. The dive shop is just steps away from a boat ramp and a very easy entry into the water. Once we were in the water and had our fins and masks on, the surface “swim” was maybe twenty seconds before we went under. Once under we had maybe a thirty meter fin to the reef. The reef drops off from about 20 feet of water to about 140 feet of water. The vast majority of marine life is from about 50 feet deep and up. The water was a perfect 79 degrees, I did not need any rubber but some was offered for those who wanted some. I dove with one other client and two guides/instructors. The reef is incredibly healthy and the abundance of marine life was amazing, I truly felt like I was in an aquarium. We did a 60 minute dive and then we were greeted with an amazing freshly made lunch, which was very nice. We then went on our second 60 minute dive and that was equally beautiful. The staff is amazing and the facilities are perfect. The equipment I was given to use was very nice and very well maintained. I honestly can’t think of a single reason why I would ever want to use another company if I am fortunate enough to return to this beautiful island. The staff had a GoPro and within a week sent me a link to 25 videos taken on our dives. These were hands done the best two dives I have ever been on. From the natural beauty to the amazing staff and the wonderful atmosphere it truly was a spectacular day. I with be forever grateful to this amazing team. YES…YES…..YES I highly recommend allowing this team to bring you diving in Bonaire. Thanks so very much to everyone involved.

  The 4WD team is so awesome, they showed us new sites we hadn't been to despite visiting Bonaire several times and curated an amazing day for us! We'll definitely dive with them again.

  Phenomenal dive firm. Owners are very knowledgeable about the area and consistently gave us good advice. We did a mixture of guided dives and tank rentals and had a good time. Their dive instructors are also quite knowledgeable. And we we able to see the osterocods perfectly. We only got the lunches once and that felt about right for us. Only good things to say about these folks and got to feel like we had semi-personalized experience for a very reasonable price.

  It was a great experience. We were instructed what to do, the team gave all the support it needed. Time had changed and we were taken to another place but it was possible to see beautiful fish and corals. The instructor was patient.

  Visibilty was 75’. Sun went in and out so colors were subdued. But good, healthy coral. Facilities were good and lunch was just right.

  Excellent training by staff. Very patient, kept in close contact throughout the dive. I was only able to do 1 out of 2 dives. For me getting out of the Ocean was difficult as it required much energy. My children all did the 2nd dive. It was excellent.

• Above and Beyond—From First Email to Final Dive. Perfect Scuba Certification Experience for Our Family

  We were absolutely blown away by our experience with 4 Wheel Diving. My wife found them online, and from the very first email exchange—setting up scuba certification for our 12- and 15-year-old boys—we felt they completely understood what we were trying to do and made the process incredibly easy. They even accommodated a last-minute request to be sure the boys completed the correct coursework ahead of time. Our in-person experience was even better. We were greeted warmly by the owner’s parents, Vanessa and Rob, who quickly confirmed that they had already checked that all of our paperwork was in order earlier that morning. Our instructor, Yago, was the perfect combination of fun, cheerful, knowledgeable, and fantastic with kids. My wife and I needed a refresher since we hadn’t been diving since our boys were born, so we joined in for the practical lessons and 2 of the 3 dives on the first day—which both included reef exploration. The setup is amazing: about 10–15 feet of sandy bottom just 100 steps from the dive shop (located within a boat yard), and then tons of world-class reef just beyond. Being able to do incredible diving immediately while learning the basics was such a treat. The boys then completed a second short skills dive in the sandy area (which we skipped), followed by lunch that was provided. After that, we all headed out for a third and final dive of the day, exploring the reef to complete their scuba certifications. Yago was outstanding throughout—his clear, gentle guidance on body position and buoyancy control helped all of us climb the learning curve quickly and confidently. We had so much fun that we booked another recreational dive at Salt Pier (about a 20-minute drive, but also a shore dive), this time with Jack, a marine biologist. Experiencing both instructors really highlighted the high caliber of the entire team—truly top notch. The final dive was even better than the rest, and Jack prepared us beautifully with his knowledge of the turtles, fish, corals, and sponges we were likely to see. • Great Shore Dives

  Great experience . . . Vanessa runs the operation and Rob is a great guide/master. Two shore dives . . . nice and easy, with two large resident tarpon, and a man made halocline. Loved that it was just me and Rob. Between dives lunch was great and the staff was friendly and talkative. I would recommend these people anytime, and hope to get back to them soon, and Bonair is one of the best places to dive.

  We had the most amazing day diving in Bonaire thanks to Vanessa and Jack from 4 Wheel Diving! Our schedule was extremely tight, and they were unbelievably flexible — adjusting the timing and accommodating every change without any stress at all. Their kindness and patience truly made us feel like VIPs from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the team was supportive, professional, and genuinely passionate about giving us the best possible experience. The dive briefing was clear, detailed, and reassuring, and we felt completely safe the entire time. Once we were in the water, everything was seamless — we were able to fully relax and enjoy the beauty of Bonaire’s underwater world. A special touch that meant so much: they took photos of the entire experience, allowing us to be fully present in the moment while still having incredible memories to take home. And the homemade lunch was absolutely delicious — such a thoughtful and personal addition to a perfect day. We felt cared for, welcomed, and truly spoiled. I would highly, highly recommend 4 Wheel Diving to anyone wanting to experience Bonaire’s spectacular diving.
