The e-bike experience in Civita called "Castello nel Cielo" is unique. Just outside Orvieto you pass through the ancient Badia and then go up the plateau which from the ancient Dimora di Collevento through Canale and then Boccetta leads to Bagnoregio, accompanied only by the rustle of a breeze that keeps the air clear here in all seasons , clean and fresh. The images that can be fixed in these places of great beauty, where the panoramas offer views of vineyards, olive trees, pastures and woods are a joy for the eyes. Farmhouses and cellars meet along the path where you can buy the real typical products of the place. Then the arrival at the Civita belvedere is indescribable, a glance that leaves you breathless. The visit to the village, a set of famous films, is a continuous emotion, with its premises, artisan shops, perfumes, essences ...
We return by stopping at the Belvedere of the Terrazza Farnese, from where the Orvieto cliff can be admired in all its majesty and elegance

5.00Fantastic ride with Paolo!! Highly recommend this tour covering the Umbria countryside. Rode 22 miles with my partner, brother-n-law and Paolo, which was informative and fun. Learned so much about the local history, shared stories, and a coffee. After our ride we had a private lunch in front of the Duomo with delicious local cuisine and wine.

5.00Traveling through the countryside by e-bike with such a knowledgeable guide was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The bikes themselves made pedaling up some rather steep hills fairly effortless. We ended up being the only teo on the tour and so having Paolo to ourselves to answer all our questions was akin to being in a history class brought to life through direct experience. Civita and Orvieto are breathtaking.

5.00Paulo was fabulous a very friendly and knowledgable man keen to ensure everyone enjoyed their tour. Bikes were great, cycled through lovely countryside albeit a bit foggy to start (Oct)! Ended with an enjoyable lunch in the Piazza next to the Duomo. Highly recommend this tour a fun day out!

5.00Had an excellent (private, by accident!) tour riding e-bikes to Civita. End to end the experience was about 4h (not 6h as advertised) perhaps because it was only us two (but I didn’t mind). Gorgeous scenery riding in the countryside, and Civita was very interesting. The “light” lunch advertised was actually quite filling and a full meal in my opinion! A delicious sampling from a restaurant close to the Duomo in Orvieto. Note you must ride the funicular down to meet your guide, but will be driven into town once the ride is over. Plenty of stops to take pics, etc. I’d recommend this activity to anyone, as the E-bike provides plenty of lift even if you’re not athletically inclined. However the walk into Civita is quite steep so keep that in mind. Would definitely book this again.
