Upon meeting your guide, you'll be given a short safety briefing and handed out the necessary safety equipment before walking 150 meters to the kayaks by the water. After getting on the water, the guide will teach you about steering the kayak and efficient forward paddling. You'll be kayaking in the calm and scenic part of Lysefjord, passing incredible rock formations, gorges, and waterfalls. Keep your eyes peeled and you may spot some of the local wildlife including sea eagles and seals.

Our guide Sandra was incredible! She was very sweet, knowledgable, and a great conversationalist. Her appreciation of nature was contagious, and it made the three hours fly by. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who is thinking about taking this tour. 10/10

4 unforgettable days, including fjords, kayaking, camping and spectacular hiking on Pulpit Rock. Special thanks to our guide Noah who took care of us from the first to the last minute. Recommended entertainment ❤️

We had a fantastic day on kayak on Lysefjord. Everything was practical. Our guide was super good, welcoming and inspiring and showed us Lysefjord and told us on the way about places we sailed past and how the area was created etc. It was a walk in tranquility and presence with nature. The trip was exactly what we could wish for. Very recommendable and we will be happy to come back.

All good. Organization good, guide great, equipment up to date and in summary had a wonderful tour of the Lysefjord. The sun and the good weather obviously can't "control" NP, but in our case they had done their utmost. Beautiful weather and thanks to NP for a special experience on the water. We enjoyed the tour from start to finish.

Great experience with very experienced guides! I have done 2 trips with Nordic Paddling AS (a 2-night trip and a 3 hours lesson) and we were very happy with the provided kayak courses, thank you again! Compliments to Rebecka & Rasmus!

Positives: The views were spectacular. Exactly what we wanted to see on the trip. The guide, Tuure, was great and managed and helped the group very well. We felt safe and always in control. He gave us enough opportunities for stops and breaks when needed. The gear provided was unexpected and worked very well. We never got cold or very wet. The kayaks, tents and wet gear were provided and worked very well. The camping was fun and food was good and enough! They even provided some snacks on the way. The hike was spectacular and the guide gave us some very cool and relevant information of Norway, the hike and its location. Negatives: We were hoping that it would be a nature breakaway but everything felt very close to towns and roads. The camping site was not remote, with the road very close, tourists and locals motor boating and skiing next to the site and the tourist ferry passing by every now and then. We could hear music and talking from nearby houses. The food was not as mentioned on the website. It was not prepared on an open fire and we also had to help with some preparation (while we did not mind, this was different to what was promised on the website- "sit back and relax".) We would have appreciated some more local food (fish).

We had an excellent time and it was a amazing experience in the Norwegian fjord. Our guide was very experienced and knew how to explain about the fjord and the area very well.

We had a 3h tour with Sandra around 18:00. Sandra was professional and friendly as a guide, the equipment top and the scenery breathtaking. It was a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. Highly recommended. Thank you Sandra!

What a trip! 🇳🇴🛶🗻 One of the best trips I’ve been on from start to finish. The Nordic Paddling guides were absolutely amazing, super friendly, knowledgeable and all round awesome 🙌🏻 The cabin and camp were set in beautiful locations. The logistics, equipment and food were all 5 star. Highly recommend this trip ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
