Morning pickups in Reykjavík begin at 6:30 AM at designated bus stops—please be ready at your chosen stop by this time to ensure a smooth and timely departure. The official departure from Reykjavík is at 7:00 AM once all guests are onboard. For travelers joining from Hella, the pickup window is between 8:30 AM and 8:40 AM at the Olís Petrol/Gas Station; we kindly ask you to be ready at least 10–15 minutes in advance to ensure a seamless check-in and on-time departure.
Enjoy a guided hike through volcanic landscapes and bubbling hot springs. The route is suitable for most skill levels and offers countless photo opportunities. 5.00Spectacular nature park, the road to reach the trekking area is unforgettable, just for that it would be worth the excursion. The walk is simple and passes through very different areas and finishing with the bath in the hot springs rounds off a perfect day. The driver was great on a road only suitable for experts and Carmen is an exceptional guide, gives a very personal and enriching view of both the area and Iceland, a great job!! totally recommended!!

3.00We enjoyed the hiking and the tour explanation by our guide Carmen. However, we had a mechanical issue with the bus and we were stuck for more than 2 hours till somebody else from the organization came to pick us up… Anyway, the experience was satisfactory, especially for the kidness and warmness of the staff (not only Carmen, but also the driver).

5.00We made an excursion to landmannalaguer on July 12 with Carmen as guide and Diego as driver. It was an unforgettable excursion, the guide did very well, as well as explaining in detail the key points of the excursion told us myths and legends. She made very good recommendations and was attentive to everyone at all times. We would like to congratulate you on your great work and make us live a great experience in a spectacular place.

5.00The guide Carmen very prepared, kind and helpful. He accompanied us throughout the tour making several stops to explain the places where we were. The Nordur organization was also very helpful in answering our questions and concerns before departure. Given the critical weather they were available to let us choose an alternative date in case we did not want to attend the booked date at no additional cost.

5.00Spectacular scenery and excursion with Nordur super recommended. We were in the family with three children aged 8,12 and 14 and the total group was about 20 people. Nacho the guide made the excursion super enjoyable, and also gave us a lot of tips, and as a photographer also 10! It is very worth it Landmannalauar!!

5.00This is a really beautiful part of the country. The path to the campsite and the trail is like a lunar landscape, so best if one takes this tour. It’s a winding dirt road and one has to go over streams, so let the experts deal with that. Once at the base camp, there are toilets and showers. Our guide, Carmen, was fantastic. She loves the outdoors, knows the range and the local lore, and kept us going at a brisk pace. You can climb up to 5 levels (our group did 3). The scenery is gorgeous. Cannot beat Mother Nature. We lucked out with no rain, and were really glad we went with Nordur Travel.

5.00Everything went to plan. Easy but beautiful walk. quiet pace and pleasant esplanades. Then, a relaxing time in the pools. The time of the visit was extended which could be done with peace of mind, something that is appreciated on holiday.
