When your cruise ship is in Marseilles, discover this beautiful city and Aix-en-Provence on this full-day shore excursion. Traveling by air-conditioned vehicle, you'll drive through Provence's idyllic countryside to the charming city of Aix. Stroll along the fountain-studded Cours Mirabeau boulevard; discover traditional squares and markets. Then, enjoy a panoramic tour of top Marseille attractions including the Basilica of Notre Dame and 11th-century Abbey of St Victor on the edge of the picturesque Old Port, before returning to your ship.

At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time
If your ship has to leave at 4pm or earlier the departure time of the tour might need to be amended. You will be emailed by the local supplier to inform you of any changes if necessary
May be operated by a multi-lingual guide.
Please wait at the exit of the ship/cruise terminal, do not start to walk on the port area.
Children under 4 years old are not allowed on tours

5.00Our guide, Pepe, clearly loves his hometown and showed us many reasons why! Although we had to miss what was the prettiest part of the coastal Marseille (because of a Sunday marathon), we saw the cathedral and the harbor and the oldest church. Our tour next took us to Aix en Provence, which is so charming with its postcard-perfect cobbled streets, fountains and cafes. Pepe gave us tips and let us explore on our own for over two hours. This was a fantastic day’s excursion from the port of Marseiile.

5.00Pepe had our attention upon first meeting at the cruise port in Marseille and he kept it enthusiastically throughout the day as he whisked us around Marseille and the entrance of Provence’s stunning jewel Aix-en-Provence. For the history buff there was plenty to captivate and for those who preferred to take in the sights…they certainly didn’t disappoint. This tour was amazing from start to finish. Highly recommend Pepe’s attention to detail!!

4.00We got lucky and ended up with a private tour for 2! Our guide was very nice, but we would have liked more information about the sights that we were seeing. She shared much about local culture, but it would have been nice to have had more details about the actual sights (inside).

1.00Terrible. I had a duplicate booking for a private tour (Rick San Martin), for a group of 5. I tried to cancel the small group tour (within 24 hours but spotty service). The guide refused to cancel and refund the small group tour. The private tour was wonderful. I need the small group tour refunded.
