  The trip is beautiful. The road has many turns and narrow lanes. The trip takes time. Our guide was very knowledgeable. There was a lot of geo political and religious discussion. That could have been toned down.

  Lepa was a wonderful guide on our Small-Group Road to Hana tour. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and shared engaging stories about the island that made each stop more meaningful. We felt well taken care of throughout the day, and her thoughtful guidance made this experience a highlight of our Maui visit. Highly recommend this tour with Lepa!

  This was a very well organized group tour. Our tour guide Heavenly (yes that’s her name) made it even better! On the 5th most dangerous road of the world yet most beautiful, Heavenly made it even funner and better with her jokes and comments about the places, anecdotes from her childhood! omg I felt like I know so much more about Hawaiian natives, their culture, family history It was awesome! We had a diverse group all age groups and ethnicities! It was such a scary though fun drive. Heavenly made all the possible stops and told us about the history of places what to expect, very important caveats on what not to do! her tips on how to make home safe were heavenly!! lol all of that I won’t know without a local guide. Man the turns were sharp and windy as hell they can be! Heavenly the island girl super trained been driving there since kiddo has perfected it all. She made it look super easy! Road to Hana is one of the most gorgeous and natural views in Hawaii. Black sand sea was another level of natural beauty! Don’t miss Aunty Sandy’s Banana bread and coconut icecream on the way! fresh fish lunch by the tour organizers was delicious. the veg wrap was good too. Heavenly picked us from hotel and dropped back tho it was bit out of her way. If you’re there then must must do! I highly recommend not driving but taking a local tour. Viator is my go-to app for hassle free booking/change of plans. Such a peace of mind for a smooth quality service but you can also find discounted tours at your hotel concierge desk or even at entrance of whalers village. One guy at our whale tour told us he’s from Colarado thought of driving on his own. Road to Hana is different monster altogether. Had to pull over and call a local driver to take him further. I would just stick with the tour. Next day you definitely wanna grab tishirts from Lahiana Canery mall saying “we survived road to Hana!” 🎉😎

  The Road to Hana was an incredible experience. Before the tour even began, our guide, Sean, was exceptionally responsive—clearly communicating pickup times, taking our food orders, and answering all of our questions. His friendly and fun personality set a great tone and made the entire day even more enjoyable. During the tour, Sean continued to impress. He was extremely knowledgeable about the sights, history, and route. The Road to Hana is narrow with many sharp turns, but Sean was consistently alert and attentive, watching ahead for any potential hazards. We felt completely safe throughout the trip.   Highly recommend booking this tour to experience the road to Hana! Our tour guide, Sean, was so informative and easygoing. We loved all his Dad jokes as well! I’m usually anxious on long drives but Sean’s driving skills and knowledge of the roads made it stress free and enjoyable. Thank you Sean for an unforgettable trip!

  Our guide Kristi was excellent. She told us a lot about the plants and history of Hawaii. She was an excellent driver and we felt safe the entire time.

  Our tour guide, Christie, was fantastic. The route is beautiful and we learned about plants and other features along the way (make sure they stop for banana bread!!) Loved learning about the history of Hawaii. Tour was well-paced with opportunity to swim. It is a good option for doing the road to Hana. Complaint: I had to sit in the jump seat of the van which was uncomfortable and had a compromised view. Recommend they decrease the number on each tour to a max of 10.

  We would have appreciated the tour more if it was more informative and had less of an emphasis on unrelated stories. We also would have liked more time at places like the Black Sand Beach.
