SMALL GROUP/ SHARED WINE TOUR. This is not your typical wine tour. We offer private access to ultra small production, family wineries, estates and vineyard properties typically not open to the general public. Shared group wine tour is a maximum of 6-7 guests. Taste limited release wines at all private property locations, walk the vineyards and tour barrel rooms often with the owners or winemakers themselves at their private vineyard homes. Perfect for couples or small groups! No crowded commercial wineries or tasting rooms. All seated private area tastings.

Visit all private wineries and vineyard estates not open to the general public. No crowded commercial wineries or tasting rooms. Walk the vineyards and tour wine production facilities and privately and exclusively. All tastings are seated and one-on-one often with winemakers or owners.

Overall Experience was great! Scott handled our reservations quickly and efficiently, even on short notice. Carlos was much more than a driver and tour guide - he's extremely knowledgeable about wine and the Santa Ynez Valley area. Our winery hosts - Sean, Megan, and Colin - were so knowledgeable and fun to listen to, and the wines were fantastic! Thanks for a wonderful day!

This was a great tour. We went to the smaller wineries just as this tour advertised. Carlos was a great guide and gave us good information. If we come back to this area we would do this tour again.

Booked a wine tour and wanted more of a local experience. This was it! It was such a good day and we learned a lot. Carlos taught us a lot during our drive there and back and gave us a lot of background / context to each place we were touring. We also saw a rocket being launched, which was cool since we’ve never seen that! Lunch was also fantastic! 10/10 would book this tour again and will definitely be recommending to friends who are visiting.

Scott is the f’ing man. Such an amazing day visiting amazing wineries. I came 11 years ago on a tour and Scott has the same incredible passion for wine and infectious energy as he did back then. If you’re getting away in Santa Barbara, this is a must do activity for a day!!
I would do this again. The weather was beautiful and it was cool to see different vineyards.

We were picked up at our hotel precisely on time to start our amazing adventure. Scott Bull curated our wine adventure with mainly bordeaux style reds as we requested and then suprised us with unique wines like a blush cabernet. Delicious! We visited three distinctly different locations - one with an amazingly beautiful vista, one with vineyards on a converted farm (yes there were goats!) and one in the heart of Happy Canyon blending love of wine making with love of horses. All of the tastings were special in their own way, the wines were fresh, crisp, robust, sublime, decadent. We returned to our hotel with a day we will all remember fondly. Thank you Sustainable Wine Tours for such a memorable day!

Ok, just super special! All private locations not open to the public! Met wine makers and very intimate. Only 6 passengers in a beautiful Mercedes van. Scott took care of us all day, constantly filling our gifted water bottles and serving a beautiful picnic on real plates. Even made the effort to get special local cupcakes for Very special birthday celebration for my friend! Wow! professional and committed to his work/company. Joyful experience. Just go’
