I love sharing the history of this village, but some memories are best made in silence. Many guests ask for free time in Oia to privately enjoy the moment, explore the charming boutiques, or simply stare at the horizon. Feel free to ask for it! When you are ready for the next spot, we will meet at Lolita's Gelato. It is located right by the main square and is the freshest house made gelato in Santorini! You will receive clear and simple instructions so the meeting point is very easy for you to find. My goal is to ensure you experience Oia with total comfort and the freedom to feel this magnificent place.

Messaria - The Authentic Heart of Santorini Messaria is my home and the place where I live. While most stay on the caldera edge, venturing into the island's center reveals its true soul. In the 19th century, this was the industrial heart of Santorini. Today, you will see a fascinating contrast between grand neoclassical mansions and humble local cave houses. As we wander this non touristy hidden gem, you will experience authentic local life. Hear church bells, see neighbors chatting, and enjoy the scent of blooming bougainvillea spilling over garden walls. Exploring my hometown lets you see Santorini through my eyes, away from the crowds. It is a place of peace, tradition, and genuine hospitality. 5.00Markos was a fantastic tour guide. He was kind and full of love and gratitude for Santorini. He was so excited to share it with us! We went to iconic locations in Oia but also learned a lot about the local culture. Our local lunch was amazing too! We had a lot of fun with Markos.

5.00Markos is the founder and the only driver for this tour and he knocks it out of the park. Picked up my group of 6 on time and got us to our first stop to walk and take pictures of the main area in Santorini. From there he took us off the main area away from the hundreds of people and showed us around a residential area and took some amazing pictures no one else will be taking unless you book with Markos. Then he dropped us off at an amazing restaurant on the beach. The food was so fresh and the whole day was amazing. His energy is unmatched and you can tell how much he loved this area and wants to share it with everyone. His very friendly and we talked about his family, our family, and anything in between. If you’re looking to book a tour, hands down reach out to Markos. You won’t regret your day with him and you’ll have pictures no one else has because of him.

5.00Markos was personable, energetic, positive, knowledgeable and accommodating. Cruise ship operations seriously delayed our tour and yet he was able to rearrange the schedule to fit in everything we wanted including wine tasting, visits to quiet authentic parts of Santorini and a wonderful lunch at a seaside restaurant. He got us out of the tourist areas to see more than the touristy part of Santorini, while sharing insights about Greek society and culture. His stint in Germany and his higher education made his English excellent. In our opinion the extra cost was worth it (he is a bit more expensive than others). Markos was a lot better than our cruise sponsored tours.

5.00We were a family of four with just a 5-hour stopover in Santorini between ferries from Crete to Milos, and Markos made sure we made the absolute most of our time! From the start, he was super helpful and responsive — working with us beforehand to create a custom 3-hour itinerary that fit perfectly around our ferry schedule. He showed us some of the most stunning spots on the island, all while carefully managing the timing and knowing exactly how to avoid the busiest crowds. What really impressed us was how well he connected with our kids. He made the tour genuinely fun and engaging for them, sharing fascinating facts about Santorini’s geology and history in a way that was both educational and entertaining. They were captivated the whole time! Santorini itself was absolutely breathtaking — dramatic cliffs, whitewashed villages, and deep blue sea views everywhere you turned. But having a local like Markos guide us made it even more special. Highly recommend booking a tour with him — especially if you’re short on time or travelling with kids. A perfect way to experience the magic of Santorini
Markos is awesome! If and when I ever go back to Greece and he’s still a tour guide, I’m going to pick him!!

5.00Absolutely a gem. Markos is a passionate, sharp guy, well educated , super knowledgeable guide. He has an incredible ability to make you feel comfortable by the time we left the town of Kamari. Markos has very comfortable car to further enjoy your experience, more than well worth the money, he does not watch the clock like you are on a schedule . Do yourself a solid , get a tour scheduled learn the island early in your trip to enhance your vacation. Danke.

5.00I would have rated this service 10 stars if I could. Markos is the gold standard for a tour guide. Friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and passionate. You can tell he loves what he does, and it made the experience that much better for my wife and I. You can tell Markos truly cares, and wants you to have a memorable time. He took photos for us, and sent them to us after the tour. He answered all of our questions with a giant smile on his face, and we felt very safe driving around the island with him leading the way. He allowed us time to walk around on our own, while still guiding us in areas we would have never seen if it weren’t for him. This tour was the highlight of our trip. Thank you, Markos!

5.00This was by far the best tour I have ever been on! And not just because of Santorini's beauty, it was mainly because we had Marcos as our tour guide! With his infectious positive personality and great sense of humor Marcos instantly made us all feel as if we were a part of his family. He is extremely likable and it was just an absolute pleasure to be around him for a day. Marcos is also extremely knowledgeable about the history of Santorini as well as the rest of Greece, he did not leave a single one of our questions unanswered (and trust me we asked A LOT)! If you are going to do anything in Santorini I cannot recommend adding Marcos into your trip enough!
