Our first stop takes us to the amazing Berserkjahraun lava fields. These jagged rocks are from an old volcano and look like something from another world. You'll see how powerful volcanoes are in Iceland.
Kirkjufell Mountain
Next, we'll visit the famous Mt. Kirkjufell, Iceland's most photographed mountain! You'll see its unique shape and the beautiful Kirkjufellsfoss waterfalls right in front of it. It's a perfect spot for taking pictures.

5.00An absolutely magical day on the Snæfellsnes peninsula with Nordur Travel! The small group format is perfect for enjoying the spectacular scenery and keeping a friendly atmosphere. The landscapes are simply spectacular, that is to say, to do at least once if you come to Iceland. A huge crush for our Lorenzo guide, simply exceptional. He spoke perfect French, English and Spanish, which made the experience smooth and enjoyable for everyone. Passionate and caring, he shared many anecdotes and explanations about the history and geology of Icelandic landscapes, which really enriched the visit. Special mention also for the small surprise activity (not foreseen in the program I specify). We really felt his desire to make us live a unique experience rather than just a tourist tour. I recommend Nordur Travel with your eyes closed, and even more so if you are lucky enough to have Lorenzo as your guide — a real nugget!

5.00This tour takes you away from all the "big" sights in Iceland and gives you a view of what Iceland was probably like in the time of the Vikings. We were picked up on time at our designated bus stop in a nice warm mini-bus by our guide Petur. This is a long trip with a lot of driving but is worth it if you are really into nauture and history. Petur filled us in on a lot of the history of the area while we were driving. We had plenty of time to explore and get pictures on our stops. I would definitely recommend this tour if you want to be immersed in Iceland and Petur was an excellent guide.

5.00We enjoyed this tour very much! Our tour guide Laura is very helpful and friendly. She’s safe in her driving as well and very knowledgeable. We were able to see all in the itinerary. It was well worth it! Highly recommended!

5.00Very good experience although the time did not help much, however Laura's charisma and enthusiasm made us enjoy this experience. Highly recommended to know landscapes outside of the series.

5.00Our guide Lorenzo was just great! He is incredibly friendly, open and has brought us closer to Iceland in a particularly personal and exciting way. Beautiful stops, great explanations and a super pleasant atmosphere – absolutely recommended!
