Our first stop takes us to the amazing Berserkjahraun lava fields. These jagged rocks are from an old volcano and look like something from another world. You'll see how powerful volcanoes are in Iceland.
Kirkjufell Mountain
Next, we'll visit the famous Mt. Kirkjufell, Iceland's most photographed mountain! You'll see its unique shape and the beautiful Kirkjufellsfoss waterfalls right in front of it. It's a perfect spot for taking pictures.

5.00It’s a long day, with quite a bit of driving, but also well worth it. Unless you rent a car, I don’t think you will ever see the natural wonders that are on this tour. Plus we saw the attic tern, a couple of puffins and seals

5.00So many magnificent things to see! Waterfalls, glaciers, volcanoes, black beach, etc. The Nordur Travel group was great to work with. They answered emails and questions and even adjusted our pick-up point for the day trip. The guide was knowledgeable and had Icelandic stories and customs to share. We are so glad we went!

4.00Overall we enjoyed the tour. 5/5 for the locations. A few negatives...for the first hour we couldn't hear anything until I informed the driver and he turned the volume up. Bus was uncomfortably hot throughout. Lunch stop wasn't until 4pm (!?) so we were lucky we ate earlier when we had the chance. Lunch was bizarre - we were taken to a restaurant that was closed for renovations where they were drilling the walls - we walked out and went elsewhere. Communication by the driver also wasn't the best as it was hard to understand his accent.

5.00Very beautiful the tour, it snowed a bit and was amazing! Thanks to Edgar our guide! for making everything very fun and for the support he gave us on the tour, very attentive, considerate and friendly. We were the only ones who spoke Spanish and he always made us talk to take the tour at ease and it was!
