Great tour. The views are stunning!!! Great value for your money as you visit multiple locations. But the best part was Ritchie, our guide/driver. The best tour guide and driver weo ever had. He went above and beyond for us. I was very impressed with his level of knowledge, kindness and dedication to his job. Top notch!!!

Great day trip from Manchester. It was a little rainy but that added to the atmosphere while driving in the mountains. Our guide Stephen was excellent and full of info as well as music to suit the trip.

Darrin, the tour guide was simply amazing. Unbelievably knowledgeable and obviously loves what he does. My only negative was the 1 hour stop at the little town in the middle of the tour. Nothing to really do and restaurants were disappointing.

I did a one-day trip in December 2025 and enjoyed myself immensely. From Manchester, you go over the border to Wales to see Conwy Castle, Snowdonia National Park, the lovely village of Betws-y-Coed in Wales and finally the city of Chester back just over the border in England. I have forgotten the guide's name (I think it was Robbie), but he was very friendly, gave clear instructions on when to be back, and knew a lot of history. (The only thing was that he probably gave too much, so you couldn't fully absorb it all, particularly early in the day.) This is only a slight criticism as I learnt information I otherwise wouldn't have known. Also, just a minor criticism: it would have been nice to spend a little more time in Betws-y-Coed, so we could explore the village rather than stop for lunch. (Although we did get a decent amount of time for lunch, I will say). I booked through one of Tripadvisor's competitors (unfortunately, I couldn't leave a review there), but the meeting instructions weren't as detailed, and I ended up missing the first day I was supposed to attend. Luckily, I was able to get a seat the next day via the friendly customer service team. So, pro-tip from someone who worked in the office: If you put in the Department of Education, Manchester, you'll be at the correct address, no problem. Also, if you don't have a British phone number, turn on global roaming in case they need to reach you (or vice versa), even if it's just for one day.

It was LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT! This is a fantastic way to get a taste of Northern Wales. Every bit as lovely as I imagined it would be. Conwy Castle is so interesting. Just one great photo op after another. Our guide Richie was an excellent driver & guide which made it all the more interesting. On the 21st of December, the mist shrouded green hills of Wales & the rugged mountains of Snowdonia National Park possessed an ethereal beauty. (Wales is home to 12 million sheep & 3 million people!) Enroute back into Manchester we had a nice stop in Chester, England, with a wide variety of historic sites to check out & ample time to enjoy what was there. Highly recommend this excursion!!
