This is not your typical wine tasting. The Wine & True Crime Tour blends Solvang’s quirkiest tasting rooms with chilling tales of crime and the macabre. Think of it as a storytelling experience with drinks, not a guided lesson in wine.

Over two hours, you’ll join a small group of fellow true crime fans as we visit three unique spots, including a slasher-themed winery and offbeat wine bars. Along the way, your guide will share gripping stories of 70s serial killers, unsolved mysteries, and haunted mortuaries.

You’ll enjoy three generous pours: a wine flight, a wine-based tiki cocktail (no rum here), and a sparkling wine farewell toast.

Come ready for dark tales, bold pours, and a one-of-a-kind night out.

John was an amazing host, he was funny and very detailed, he showed us so many things to learn about the small of Solvang. The wines that were offered were really delicious too!

My friends booked this for my birthday and I had no clue what we were getting into. John (the tour guide) made the experience so much fun and the atmosphere of the wine bars we went into were unmatched! The group size wasn’t too big either. Definitely recommend for added fun, good true crime stores and a chance to try some great wines!

Very fun experience. Loved the tour and the stories and our tour guide made the night so much fun. The venues were fun to visit and it was fun learning different things about the area.

Did the True Crime Tour with Ryan in Solvang. Ryan was a great guide made the tour fun and enjoyable. Would recommend. The drink stops were great also.

So much fun, John was amazing and so knowledgeable about everything. He was also so funny and made it a very safe environment. Great price for the experience, would definitely recommend to anyone that visits Solvang

The tour was very entertaining and gave great knowledge into the history of the town. All three places that we visited were great and worthwhile. The cost of the tour is a bit costly, however, I dont regret doing it. Truly walked away with a different perspective of the town.
