Join our truly small-group foodie tour limited to just 8 exclusive guests each day. There's no two ways about it, the food in Phuket is sublime. Perhaps that's why is was crowned the 'Thailand City of Gastronomy 2017' by UNESCO. This melting pot of Thai, Chinese, Malay and Burmese food certainly warrants a few hours away from the beach. There's no better way than diving into the hidden street eats in Phuket Old Town. You'll spend 4 hours with your foodie guide delving into the secrets behind the island's flavours. You'll make plenty of stops to mop up Burmese curries with wood-fried naans at a tucked away workers teashop, practise your chopstick skills on a bowl on the best bowl of Hokkien noodles in town and indulge in crispy roti dipped in creamy massaman curry, among a dozen more mouth-watering Phuketian culinary delights. You won't find food like this anywhere else on the island.

We can cater for vegetarians and pescatarians as long as those guests are okay that there may be 2-3 less tastings (out of 15) that won't be suitable. They certainly won't go hungry!

Note that our regular tour runs at 10:00am and 10:30am, and sometimes we add an extra tour at 12:30pm. Only the 12:30pm doesn't go inside the market (but our earlier tour times do!). Street food vendors take time off too, so not every Phuket food tour will be exactly the same, but fear not, the tour will always be packed with the good stuff!

5.00We had the best time with Cat today on A Chef’s Tour. This was a 4 hour goody tour and it was amazing. Cat is super smart and knows a lot about the history and cultures on the tour for all of the restaurants and stops we made. We really appreciated her down to earth nature. She has a very good rapport with all of the shops and was able to answer all of our questions. If you are coming to Phuket don’t miss this tour. We ate so very much and learned even more. This should be one of the very first things you do when you get here. Thank you for putting together such a wonderful experience. We may even do it again while we are here, take the afternoon tour next time. The food in Thailand is delicious and the people are very friendly and smart.

5.00We had a chef’s tour guide with Lucky, who was an excellent host for the group. Lucky had extremely good local knowledge and explained the culture of the various restaurants we went to and explained how the food was prepared and cooked. She also took the time to introduce us to the restaurant owners, which was a joy as these were all locally owned family businesses. Overall, an excellent tour with tasting many dishes with a wide range of flavours from salty to sweet to too hot to handle!! A fabulous tour.

5.00We were captivated by an avalanche of new tastes in this tour, all more exquisite from each other with super fresh local produce Our guide was a passionate who passed on her passion for Thai food. An exceptional day only one flat arrived on an empty stomach because you will have the full belly.

5.00This was an excellent tour and an absolute must for anyone visiting Phuket. Our tour guide Lucky was extremely knowledgeable about provided great context and background to each of the stops on the tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and recommend it to everyone. Make sure you skip breakfast beforehand because you will be eating a lot!

5.00I've done every chef's special tour, and this was easily one of my favorites. Gigi was such a warm and great guide, and she made us feel more like friends than people on a tour. The food was amazing, and she created a really friendly environment for us. Honestly would book it again in a heartbeat!
