Join our truly small-group foodie tour limited to just 8 exclusive guests each day. There's no two ways about it, the food in Phuket is sublime. Perhaps that's why is was crowned the 'Thailand City of Gastronomy 2017' by UNESCO. This melting pot of Thai, Chinese, Malay and Burmese food certainly warrants a few hours away from the beach. There's no better way than diving into the hidden street eats in Phuket Old Town. You'll spend 4 hours with your foodie guide delving into the secrets behind the island's flavours. You'll make plenty of stops to mop up Burmese curries with wood-fried naans at a tucked away workers teashop, practise your chopstick skills on a bowl on the best bowl of Hokkien noodles in town and indulge in crispy roti dipped in creamy massaman curry, among a dozen more mouth-watering Phuketian culinary delights. You won't find food like this anywhere else on the island.

We can cater for vegetarians and pescatarians as long as those guests are okay that there may be 2-3 less tastings (out of 15) that won't be suitable. They certainly won't go hungry!

Note that our regular tour runs at 10:00am and 10:30am, and sometimes we add an extra tour at 12:30pm. Only the 12:30pm doesn't go inside the market (but our earlier tour times do!). Street food vendors take time off too, so not every Phuket food tour will be exactly the same, but fear not, the tour will always be packed with the good stuff!

Forget pad Thai and green curry, that's central Thai fare. 5.00Great tour with a great guide. 5 different stops with different regional and cultural foods at each one. The guide explained how the foods varied by who had emigrated to the areas, and how the different cultures influenced the foods. Really good food throughout

5.00My mum and I went on the tour with Gigi today, and we made some amazing memories - definitely a big highlight of our trip! We tried a range of dishes we never would've tried on our own, and found restaurants we will visit again before we leave. Gigi was the loveliest host, and it was so special supporting the local heritage eateries. Highly highly recommended to anyone wanting to try something new and authentic!!

5.00Excellent experience. A 4 hour culinary journey through the food of Asia. Beginning with a traditional Chinese broth, through the cuisine of Malaysia, Myanmar and Thailand. I am a big big eater but towards the end I was beginning to struggle to finish everything. Would thoroughly recommend this beautifully constructed tour, and would also recommend that you don’t have a large breakfast at your hotel as it will spoil the experience to follow. Our guide spoke perfect English and also helped us arrange our onward travel, from Phuket
