Unlike the mainland which is of volcanic origin, Ile aux Aigrettes is made up of coralline limestone. It is home to the last remnants of dry coastal forest, once found around most of Mauritius.

5.00Exceptional day. Very nice boat, very good size and very well appointed / equipped. The skipper Lucas is very friendly and speaks very good French. Excellent value for money for the day we spent. We recommend this unique experience.

5.00I had such a great time on this boat tour to Île aux Cerfs and the south of the island. The places we visited were beautiful and full of charm, and I especially liked learning more about the lagoon and the history of Grand Port during the eco-tour. Everything felt really well organized, and a special mention goes to our skipper who was not only very skilled but also super kind and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a day I’ll remember!

5.00We had an exceptional family day. Lucka was super friendly and caring with us (thanks for the fresh sea urchin tasting, it was a childhood dream). The program was just perfect: between snorkling and discovering the different islands, we could observe dolphins and see colorful fish and beautiful corals. Lunch on Deer Island was the icing on the cake, what an amazing spot! We were very lucky to have had the boat just for us 4 which made this trip even more special. This sea trip was by far our most beautiful day in Mauritius. Beautiful experience to do without hesitation.

5.00We had an extraordinary day on a boat tour organized from the superb Chantauvent guest house, with an incredible view in the morning! First step: Ile aux Aigrettes, where we took a refreshing swim in a protected natural setting. Then we headed to Ile aux Cerfs, where we enjoyed a delicious lunch surrounded by postcard landscapes. We then snorkeled at Ile aux Aigrettes, in the beautiful Coral Garden lagoon – a real wonder with colorful fish and beautiful corals. Finally, we were able to see the impressive Dalbair, an ancient ship stranded, full of charm and mystery. Throughout the day, drinks, fresh water and snorkelling equipment were provided. Above all, a huge thank you to Luca, our guide: a perfect, warm, professional and passionate pilot. He made this day even more special. An unforgettable excursion that we recommend 100%!

5.00We spent a magical day with our skipper Lucas with a kindness and a rare sense of wish Snorkelling , discovery of the jewels , lunch of the island of deer almost alone in the world . A real treat crowned by an improvised tasting of sea urchins (another one of Lucas’ qualities) straight out of the water A real change of scenery that allowed us to meet as a family in paradise Recommend without hesitation!

4.00This was a really nice experience with a good variation of sites. The guide was really nice and the boat was modern and clean. Unfortunately the lunch was pretty bad. We had specified that we need vegetarian options in the booking and that was not provided for. They even said that they didn’t have time to fix it as they were already on the island which is strange. Other guests were annoyed as there was no accommodations made for dietary requirements. Even for meat eaters the lunch was very basic with not so much food. I would have preferred to pay and eat a better lunch somewhere else.

5.00A truly amazing day on the water! The boat was comfortable, and our captain was so welcoming. We went snorkeling and saw incredible marine life, then visited Île au Phare and Île aux Cerfs for a relaxing swim and walk. Lunch was delicious, with fresh lobsters and fish served right at the water's edge. One of the waiters even played a mini guitar concert for us. Highly recommend this excursion!

5.00A fantastic team that really listens to what their customers want, making sure every detail is perfect. Our skipper, was exceptional, guiding us with great expertise. The boat was modern and impeccably clean, and the meal served on board was both filling and delicious. The places we visited were breathtakingly beautiful. I highly recommend this private excursion if you want a unique experience away from the typical tourist crowds.
