This is not your typical 'market sampling' small bites tour, rather we visit 5 authentic food establishments, ensuring nobody leaves hungry! Our small group sizes will give you access to the establishments frequented by locals, and personal attention from your guide.
There are lots of fun photo opportunities along the way, with just the right amount of history sprinkled in. At the end of your experience, we will also provide you with our exclusive 'Guidebook’ – which will give you plenty of ideas on what else you can do during your time in Split.

WHAT'S ON THE MENU; CHARCUTERIE BOARD -Dalmatian Prosciutto, Pancetta, Cheese, Olives and a Selection of Salts served with Home Made Bread & Olive Oil. SEAFOOD -Black Risotto (made with Adriatic Cuttlefish and Cuttlefish Ink) served with Local Bread & Olive Oil. MEAT -Pasticada (Dalmatian Beef Pot Roast dish) with Home Made Gnocchi served with Peka Bread & a Shot of Rakija (local liquor). SNACK -Burek (popular Balkan snack) made of a thin flaky dough, which comes with a variety of fillings to choose from. GELATO (or) SORBET -Your choice of flavors, however if available, we highly recommend the unique local flavor of Lavender. *Items may vary due to seasonality and availability

5.00Ivanna is an excellent food tour guide. She took us to amazing restaurants to taste local specialties. We would have never found them without her. We had procuiitto that was naturally sea air dried, black cuttlefish risotto, the best local olive oils, breads and sea salt and more. The wine, the foods were all delicious! I highly recommend that you ask for [email protected]. She is the best, mixing, history, culture and best foods to eat in Split.

5.00We were met by our tour guide Marianne, on time at the Split sign, that was really easy to find. The tour gave us a great insight into the history of Split. Marianne was able to answer any questions that we had comprehensively about the area we were exploring. The food that we tasted was all of a very high standard and Marianne was able to talk to us about the history of the food and where it came from. Wine is not included in this tour, but all the wines that the restaurants paired with the food were excellent and reasonably priced, water was provided at every restaurant. Would highly recommended this tour.

5.00We felt like we were with family on this tour. Ivana, our guide, was outstanding! A great historian and foodie. Being a local, she used her knowledge and experiences growing up in Spilt to teach us how the history of the area influenced the foods we tasted on our journey through the city. Food portions at each 5 stops were enough to leave us with full bellies by the time we were done. Highly recommended!

5.00Ivana was our tour guide and she was amazing. She has lived in the region her whole life, and is bright, intelligent, and enjoyable. Ivana's knowledge of the history and culture of Split, and Croatia as a whole, was highly impressive. Each food stop was well-prepared, clean, and situated around the old town so as to see important sites. The five samplings/meals represented Croatian culture, were tasty, and more than enough for a large mid-day meal and dessert. The afternoon was delightful- yummy and fascinating!

5.00Dino was very knowledgeable about both the history of Split and the food, we liked that he used local family business and we got to try places we would have never found on our own. We liked that it was a small group of us (I believe 10 in total) which meant we got a chance to chat with everyone on the tour. We weren't rushed from stop to stop and even when time ran over Dino did not make a fuss of it. The food was superb and Dino talked us through each of the dishes. Our only regret was that we did this tour on our last day meaning we didn't get time to check out all of the recommendations that Dino had provided to us.
