This is not your typical 'market sampling' small bites tour, rather we visit 5 authentic food establishments, ensuring nobody leaves hungry! Our small group sizes will give you access to the establishments frequented by locals, and personal attention from your guide.
There are lots of fun photo opportunities along the way, with just the right amount of history sprinkled in. At the end of your experience, we will also provide you with our exclusive 'Guidebook’ – which will give you plenty of ideas on what else you can do during your time in Split.

WHAT'S ON THE MENU; CHARCUTERIE BOARD -Dalmatian Prosciutto, Pancetta, Cheese, Olives and a Selection of Salts served with Home Made Bread & Olive Oil. SEAFOOD -Black Risotto (made with Adriatic Cuttlefish and Cuttlefish Ink) served with Local Bread & Olive Oil. MEAT -Pasticada (Dalmatian Beef Pot Roast dish) with Home Made Gnocchi served with Peka Bread & a Shot of Rakija (local liquor). SNACK -Burek (popular Balkan snack) made of a thin flaky dough, which comes with a variety of fillings to choose from. GELATO (or) SORBET -Your choice of flavors, however if available, we highly recommend the unique local flavor of Lavender. *Items may vary due to seasonality and availability

5.00This was a fabulous tour. Ivana was extremely knowledgeable and personable. We appreciated that she took us to some local spots outside of Old Town. The food was varied and awesome. It was a lot of food but not overwhelming. And, of course, ending with a gelato rounded off a great time. Highly recommend

5.00Our guide Josie was great. She was very informative. And the foods we tried were a wonderful sampling of Croatian foods. We had a great group of people on the tour that made it lively. The wines we were able to try were also delicious.

5.00Awesome way to experience the must trys of Split and get some great information and history of the city! Dino was amazing! He was funny and engaging. Water was provided at every stop with the option to add on wine, which was perfect! Each stop was picked for its local connection, which added to the charm.

5.00My partner and I had a really good time exploring Split and trying tasty local foods during this tour! Our guide, Ivanna, was really knowledgeable about the history and the food, I enjoyed listening to her stories and her insight on this area. She is a local and can help answer a lot of questions and give personal stories, I think that really adds an authentic element to this tour. But the food was amazing as well!!! This is such a good way to find true local food that is specific to this region, and make sure you try it at good restaurants. It takes the guess work out of where to go, and lets you try smaller portions of dishes. I would highly recommend taking this tour when you’re in Split to learn about the town/the palace AND try yummy food!
