Anita was great! I've learned a lot of things that I would miss just by walking by myself. If you visit Split definitely go for a guided tour so you can appreciate the towns history!

Brilliant tour guide, extremely informative and didn’t bail on us despite the pouring rain. Was kind enough to borrow some umbrellas for us as despite being British we didn’t come prepared for rain😂. We got some much more out of our time in Split thanks to Anita. Thoroughly recommend

A real must whilst visiting Split. Our guide (Anita Tavric) was lovely & very informative. She made the tour fun & interesting at the same time. Whilst walking around the Palace we learnt a lot about the history of Split & would recommend this tour to anyone that wants to understand why the Palace was built & what has happened there, over the years up until the present day. We really enjoyed it & as there was only five of us in the tour, it was even more special.

We had such a fun and interesting time exploring Split with Anita Tavric as our guide. She was super friendly, easy to talk to. Walking through the old town and Diocletian’s Palace with her felt like discovering the city with a local friend who happens to know all the cool history and hidden spots.

As newcomers to Split, we thought it a good idea to take part in a guided walking tour in order to quickly familiarise ourselves with this wonderful old city. We had the good fortune of being Anita Tavric’s companions for almost 2 hours. There were just the 2 of us, and Anita. What a bargain… a personalised tour for just 22€ per person! It was the by far the best tourism experience we had on the day…and the best value. Anita was born and grew up in Split and so she speaks with the authority and authenticity of a city resident. We found Anita warm, friendly and welcoming. She not only speaks perfect English, she is a great communicator. She speaks with you, not at you. Anita took us to all the hotspots in the old city. We were able to hear a quartet sing a traditional Croatian love song and see an amusing historical re-enactment in the city square. Anita provided us with lots of suggestions on where to go and what to do after our tour, and so we did retrace many of our earlier steps. That was very helpful and also time-efficient given the limitations of our travel itinerary. We also have a list of potential sites to visit on our road journey north of Split in coming days. Thank you Anita. You are a guiding professional. We enjoyed our time with you.
