If you are arriving by cruise ship, you must reach out directly to the tour operator with your ships name and port times! Not all times will work with our schedule. No refunds will be offered on the day of departure if your times don't fit with ours..

Join us on an all-inclusive, Semi private sailing experience, Just for You! We sail with a maximum of 6 guest. There is no end to what you can see while sailing with Virgin Islands Day Sailing. Join us as we explore the most breathtaking locations around the Virgin Islands. Create timeless memories as you experience spectacular sailing destinations with those you love. Full day excursions depart from our slip in Sapphire Beach Marina, St. Thomas at 9:00 am with a return around 3:30. Enjoy the sights and our open bar as we sail. Our destination will be the St. John National Park and the picturesque surrounding cays. You will have the chance to discover why many say that St John offers some of the best snorkeling and swimming locations in the Virgin Islands. We usually try to hit two different locations with a fresh grilled lunch served between stops. Our locations will be picked based upon the wind, weather and crowd conditions. Our goal is to stay away from the stops that are frequented by the cruise ship excursions. Please contact us directly for private or custom tours.

5.00Captain Kendall made the trip so much fun! While sailing to the snorkeling sites he gave us a great history lesson on St Thomas.. I wish he had been my HS history teacher! The spots we went to were not crowded and offered some beautiful snorkeling 😊. He got us on & off safely & explained everything he was doing while sailing! Us landlubbers sincerely appreciated his expertise! He shared some lessons cal sights of interest and some environmental knowledge with us. He was good humored, entertaining and also a great chef & bartender while being a great & knowledgeable sailboat captain. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

5.00⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was one of the best excursions of our trip! St. John is absolutely stunning, and this sailing trip let us enjoy it in the best possible way. Addison was an incredible captain — and somehow also the deckhand, cook, and bartender all in one! He was friendly, capable, and made the entire day feel effortless and fun. We especially loved that there were only six people on the boat. It made for such a relaxed, personal experience instead of feeling crowded or touristy. Another huge plus: we truly sailed the entire time. So many “sailing” trips end up using the motor most of the day, but this was the real thing, and it was fantastic. We stopped at three beautiful coves around St. John, each more gorgeous than the last. One highlight was swimming up to Honeymoon Beach — such a fun experience. The water was crystal clear and absolutely breathtaking. Highly recommend this excursion if you want a smaller, authentic, relaxing day on the water!

5.00Our boat Captain Addison was amazing. He sailed expertly all while serving as the bartender, chef and activities director! He is a one man show! He took us to some amazing spots for snorkeling. We saw turtles, stingrays, squid and many colorful fish along the reef. It was an amazing day!

5.00We enjoyed a perfect day sailing. Kendall was very knowledgeable about the area, including its history, culture, and current events. He is also a very accomplished sailor (only using the motor to leave the marina). We snorkeled in two beautiful cays that were not crowded. The lunch and beverages were delicious!

5.00Kendall was our captain. He is experienced in sailing and didn’t need to use the motor. It was amazing to watch him zip in and out of the bay using only the sail. We had a nice quiet( without the motor) relaxing day. Snorkel twice and saw plenty of fish and turtles and a ray. Shade on the boat was perfect for those of us who were more sensitive to sun exposure and could enjoy the ocean breeze without being inside.

5.00We had the most wonderful day! There were only 4 of us on the boat. Our captain, Darren, was awesome! Great conversation, wonderful food and drinks, and beautiful snorkeling spots! If u are looking for a more intimate boating excursion, I highly recommend!!! 🩵💙🩵💙

5.00Captain Kendall was great. He has so much knowledge about the region and so many entertaining stories. He is also clearly a highly skilled sailor. He also interacted with our son with Down Syndrome beautifully. It was such a relaxing day of snorkeling and sailing. Great start to our vacation.
