If you are arriving by cruise ship, you must reach out directly to the tour operator with your ships name and port times! Not all times will work with our schedule. No refunds will be offered on the day of departure if your times don't fit with ours..

Join us on an all-inclusive, Semi private sailing experience, Just for You! We sail with a maximum of 6 guest. There is no end to what you can see while sailing with Virgin Islands Day Sailing. Join us as we explore the most breathtaking locations around the Virgin Islands. Create timeless memories as you experience spectacular sailing destinations with those you love. Full day excursions depart from our slip in Sapphire Beach Marina, St. Thomas at 9:00 am with a return around 3:30. Enjoy the sights and our open bar as we sail. Our destination will be the St. John National Park and the picturesque surrounding cays. You will have the chance to discover why many say that St John offers some of the best snorkeling and swimming locations in the Virgin Islands. We usually try to hit two different locations with a fresh grilled lunch served between stops. Our locations will be picked based upon the wind, weather and crowd conditions. Our goal is to stay away from the stops that are frequented by the cruise ship excursions. Please contact us directly for private or custom tours.

5.00Captain Kendall is awesome. Quick with a story, happy to be there, and does a great job balancing captain duties with crew duties. He takes you to less populated snorkeling sites with opportunities to see more interesting and vibrate sea life. His sailing experience makes being under sail power look like a breeze.

5.00Relaxing sailing experience with personal attention. The small group size made it especially enjoyable. Captain Kendall was very knowledgeable, attentive and competent. He took us to some very special snorkeling spots and had a thorough knowledge of the area. I would highly recommend this trip.

5.00My favorite excursion ! As we boarded, Captain Kendall extended a warm welcome. The small group of six made for an ideal day- long sailing. Our first stop Lovango Bay, where we enjoyed fantastic snorkeling in crystal clear water full of colorful fish, such as yellowtail snapper, angelfish, needle nose, and parrotfish- someone saw a shark. As we sailed around the cays, Captain Kendall shared stories about the history of the islands and pointed out landmarks. Our next stop, Scott’s Bay, offered another excellent snorkeling experience. I spotted several stingrays and either a puffer or porcupine fish along with plenty of other colorful fish. Lunch consisted of grilled chicken and pasta salad and my very first, second … painkiller cocktail, which was delicious! 😋 It was a great day with fun people!

5.00Captain Kendall made the trip so much fun! While sailing to the snorkeling sites he gave us a great history lesson on St Thomas.. I wish he had been my HS history teacher! The spots we went to were not crowded and offered some beautiful snorkeling 😊. He got us on & off safely & explained everything he was doing while sailing! Us landlubbers sincerely appreciated his expertise! He shared some lessons cal sights of interest and some environmental knowledge with us. He was good humored, entertaining and also a great chef & bartender while being a great & knowledgeable sailboat captain. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

5.00⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was one of the best excursions of our trip! St. John is absolutely stunning, and this sailing trip let us enjoy it in the best possible way. Addison was an incredible captain — and somehow also the deckhand, cook, and bartender all in one! He was friendly, capable, and made the entire day feel effortless and fun. We especially loved that there were only six people on the boat. It made for such a relaxed, personal experience instead of feeling crowded or touristy. Another huge plus: we truly sailed the entire time. So many “sailing” trips end up using the motor most of the day, but this was the real thing, and it was fantastic. We stopped at three beautiful coves around St. John, each more gorgeous than the last. One highlight was swimming up to Honeymoon Beach — such a fun experience. The water was crystal clear and absolutely breathtaking. Highly recommend this excursion if you want a smaller, authentic, relaxing day on the water!

5.00Our boat Captain Addison was amazing. He sailed expertly all while serving as the bartender, chef and activities director! He is a one man show! He took us to some amazing spots for snorkeling. We saw turtles, stingrays, squid and many colorful fish along the reef. It was an amazing day!
