4.00Unfortunately for us it was raining heavily for our whole ride down the river. It stopped when we were at the beach and we were treated to a rainbow. It is a very short ride for the cost. You can be waiting for the motor boat for a long time to be towed back to the beginning.

5.00Wear water shoes and relax. Expect a great slow ride down the river to the sea. Amad aka Captain was a knowledgeable and friendly guide.

5.00Amazing experience. We highly recommend it. Captain Joe (the one and only) is a fantastic host- funny, engaging, and informative. The mangrove was exceptional, we were greeted with fresh fruit at the beach, a great beverage which was better than a pina colada, and a lovely man selling souvenirs. We were provided an amaretto sour drink by Stephane at the end of the tour.

5.00Great pick up driver from Royalton hideaway with informative 40 min drive to the river. Wonderful quiet, beautiful, peaceful, informative rode down the river on our own raft with a bench and our great guide Gilbert. We went to an amazing hidden mangrove area - very magical - and then a great beach where we found a lot of seamless and a sand dollar. Then a little outboard boat tows the raft back to the landing where there are bathrooms. They also provided us with beer, water or coke. A very, very fun, tranquil and pleasant morning off the beaten path!
