While in port in St Maarten, enjoy fun in the sun at two of St Maarten’s renowned beaches – Orient Beach and Maho Beach. Your friendly guide will deliver you to Orient Bay Beach where jet skiing, sailing and paragliding are among the water activities on offer (own expense). You’ll have plenty of beach bars and restaurants to choose from before watching aircraft fly overhead at Maho Beach. With your proximity to Princess Juliana International Airport, you'll be a jet setter on this half-day shore excursion that includes complimentary refreshments and round-trip transport.

What To Expect
Maho Beach
Maho Beach is located on the Dutch side of St. Maarten. It is famous for being adjacent to the Princess Juliana International Airport making it at attraction to visitors and locals alike and for plane-watchers enthusiast.
Orient Bay
One of the most popular beaches on the island located on the French Side. Guest can take part in water sports activities or lounge on the beach chairs. Or hang out at the local beach bars and try the island's local mixed rums.

3.00DO NOT trust Viator map. Said we would be picked up on the pier. You are not. Without directions it took us 30 minutes to find the pick up spot. We missed the bus. To their credit they paid for our cab to meet the bus. The guide was great.

5.00Be sure to ask for specific instructions on where to meet. We got off the ship early to make sure we would be able to find where we needed to go, and we were thankful we did that. Once we checked in, we met our driver Wellington. He was fantastic!! He took us to Orient Beach first. We paid for our chairs and umbrella (which came with a free drink) and enjoyed our two hours at the beach. This beach is right next to a nude beach so be warned if it's not something you are wanting to see. After two hours we headed to Maho Beach. Wellington was a great tour guide and provided us with a lot of information about the local life. We were at Maho Beach for around an hour. It is a very busy beach! It is small and many people want to come and watch the planes take off and land. The waves were unforgiving and not something I would recommend for small children at all! We enjoyed our short time on the beach. The trip was as expected, and we were back in plenty of time to shop before we needed to be back on the ship. Highly recommend!
