Dublin Castle

5.00Alan was brilliant. His passion for Irish history really enhanced our tour. Ireland has a long and sometimes brutal history and Alan conveyed how the Ireland of today was formed and established. We had plenty of time at each of the stops to see the Book of Kells and other exhibitions. Highly recommend this tour.

5.00St Patricks is a beautiful cathedral with amazing acoustics. We were lucky enough to be there when the St Patricks college choir was rehearsing. The cathedral has an amazing history and I now know where the saying 'To chance your arm' comes from. Definitely worth a visit.

5.00Nole was kind, friendly, personable and knowledgeable. We could tell he loved his job, which is a wonderful way to spend our time. I had a walker and Nole made sure I was taken care of. He set me up with the elevator (lift), and was very considerate of my walking troubles. The sites we saw were very interesting. This was the last thing we did in Ireland and a perfect way to end our stay.

5.00This tour was fabulous! It’s a longer tour but it went by quickly. Michael was gracious, knowledgeable and it felt like he adapted the tour to our interests and questions as we went along. He was great a highlighting parts of the Books of Kells Museum that I would have missed and did an amazing job of wrangling our small group around. We had bad weather going by Dublin Castle, but that didn’t take away from the tour. There is so much covered in the tour - religion, art, architecture - I recommend it to anyone! I came away grateful for what I learned and loving Dublin even more. Michael is a gem!

5.00Our guide Nick was really great. He took his time with us and as it turned out we were the only people with him on the tour. So we really got good personalized discussions and a lot of history. Really appreciated how he adjusted his discussions to focus on my two daughters and provide some history on women in Ireland and some of the great accomplishments that have shaped the history. We had a little issue at the beginning of the tour with meeting location but that was quickly remedied and didn’t impact anything with the quality of the tour. Definitely would recommend him again or Noel that we had for one of the other tours. Both Irish natives and full of history.

5.00Marty was an excellent guide. Took us around to the three site and really showed us the city and shared the history of Dublin. He took his time to share stories and the gems of the sites. We really enjoyed learning for Marty and gaining his experience and knowledge. We would highly recommend this tour.

5.00The sites were amazing, the tour guide was truly outstanding. Marty's knowledge of history brought the whole experience to another level! I learned so much - in incredible detail- about the Book of Kells, the Long Room at Trinity, Saint Patrick's, and lots of additional information about things we passed by along the way. I highly recommend the tour. Be sure to ask for Marty if you can. ☘️
