  An excellent insight into the history of Stamford through periods of prosperity and decline up to the present day. Our enthusiastic and very knowledgeable guide introduced us to some of the most important buildings and explained the key phases of development. A really good way to get to know the town we’ve lived in for 40+ years, and to walk off some of the excess calories consumed over Christmas

  Whatever the weather - and our tour was in pouring, cold rain - it’s a brilliant tour giving so many insights into the history of and buildings and done with fun and humour. It takes about 90mins and covers just about every place in the town

  This guided tour was great. We learnt so much about this beautiful town. Our guide, Nicola, delivered an entertaining and passionate potted history of Stamford. I highly recommend anyone to treat themselves to this tour (including locals!).

  Nicola met us on the steps of the Stamford Town Hall dressed in Pink, with a big smile and a joke which imediadely put us at ease. We had a very personal tour as only us two were booked on. Nicola was certain to ask what we were particularly interested in and had an open friendly way about her. She was clearly spoken and had good knowledge of the history of the towns buildings and took us to some lovely places we wouldnt have seen on our own ie The Alms houses. We enjoyed our tour very much. Thanks Nicola

  Thoroughly enjoyed the guided walk. The guide was very knowledgeable. I particularly enjoyed the humour intertwined with historical facts.

  My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our 90 minute walking tour of Stamford today with Kiffy who was friendly and informative. Having lived near Stamford for over forty years I saw it with new eyes today and intend to visit more often. Such a beautiful town and with so much history, thanks Kiffy.
