Fun and friendly private walking tours of the city of Cambridge. We are qualified Cambridge guides, the only guides permitted to lead groups into the University colleges. Every tour can be personalised to suit you and your group starting and finishing at a convenient location. Each tour will feature highlights of the town, University and its colleges.

Duration: 2 hours: This tour can be adapted to suit your needs with flexible start times and meeting and end points.
Cambridge University : Discover more about the University and Colleges of Cambridge. Tour includes the river and City highlights.

Central Cambridge tour

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes: A flexible tour which can start at a time and meeting point to suit your group.
Central Cambridge: The walk explores the historic City centre, passing many fascinating University and College buildings along the way.

Cambridge really came alive with a tour, and our guide Jo was terrific. She explained the details and logistics of University organization and education, and also included history of this beautiful town and area both old and more recent. Jo combined history, educational facts, and lots of fun anecdotes. She individualized to our interests and questions. At end of tour, she gave us numerous suggestions for further colleges to explore on our own and other sights to see. Would highly recommend this tour, and Jo in particular, as a great way to visit this iconic destination !

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Joanne! Jo texted me several times before the trip to make sure of all arrangements. I was in constant contact with her on our trip up from London so our driver knew exactly where to drop us. Jo was a fabulous guide with a wealth of knowledge and amusing stories. She was just delightful to be with. We recommend her unconditionally!!

We went with a group of Chilean students to get to know the different colleges of Cambridge, Jo Sharpington was our guide and was really amazing, she told us several stories about the places, which we did not know, well documented and very charming. She is a really friendly and enthusiastic person, as well as handling a lot of information. I recommend it 100%

Megan gave us a Well guided tour of several colleges, a pleasant experience all round, history and fun stories combined. To visit Kings College chapel was pretty expensive.

We booked with Cambridge on Foot who were immediately friendly and helpful. We had Jo who was warm, bubbly and very friendly. We particularly wanted to show our friend from the States the colleges and Jo was extremely knowledgeable on both facts and good stories. A great day out and our tour with Jo certainly made our day. We would definitely book Cambridge on Foot again.

Family tour with two young kids. Jo is extremely friendly and knowledgable about the town and university. My boys learnt a lot about history and some fun stories. Highly recommended!

Bill was a great tour guide, very personable and very knowledgeable. I really enjoyed how he tailored the tour to fit my needs. I learned a lot about the colleges and the university. I recommend Bill for your next tour.

We had an excellent time with Dick on our 90 minute tour and visited lots of interesting spots, touring the town on Cambridge and a few of the colleges. Dick provided lots of information on the tour and we would definitely recommend this trip!
