Aegibong Ecological Park, where the Starbucks closest to North Korea is located, has renovated an old observatory into an ecological park.
On the way to the observatory, we will cross the suspension bridge. If you cross this bridge, you can reach the Starbucks closest to North Korea. In front of Starbucks, there is an observatory where you can view North Korea and a telescope that you can use for free.
This park consists of an ecological exhibition hall, an observatory, and an ecological trail. In particular, it is beautiful to see the natural scenery and architecture beautifully harmonizing.
Tour course: Meeting place - Aegibong Peace Ecopark - Peace Eco Exhibition Hall - Jogang Observatory (Starbucks Observatory) - Hyundai Outlet - Drop off City Hall.

5.00Really great tour! An enjoyable history lesson on the bus, walking the suspension bridge to Aegibong Peace Eco Park (15 min walk) in the DMZ site - beautiful mountains! Great for pictures 😊. Seeing North Korea from the DMZ was fascinating! AJ from Seoul City Tour was very knowledgeable, pleasant and funny. Really enjoyed this experience. It was organized and hassle free. Simply book on line then get on the bus - AJ and her team take care of all the details. If you go to Seoul - you MUST take the DMZ tour with SEOUL CITY TOUR.

4.00It was a good experience. Family enjoyed the tour. Unfortunately there was a delay in getting tickets that reduced our time at the experience centre. Bus was comfortable. AJ from Seoul City Tour was our guide. She and her assistant was good. Only that the Star bucks was over crowded that also caused a rush.

5.00It was a great experience and it became even better with the explanation about the history of Korean war by our guide, AJ. I would recommend it to the travellers who want to know the history of Korea. However,it would have been more greater experience with tunnels and inflater interaction.

5.00We went to the Starbucks that’s only 1.4km to North Korea - it’s super close! Our tour guide, AJ was reallllt good! She’s so friendly, very informative and you can ask her any questions. She’s also happy to answer any questions post tour. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a perfect DMZ experience. Do it with AJ! 😉
