You can see the open sky, the flowing river, and the North Korean land beyond Starbucks.
Aegibong Ecological Park, where the Starbucks closest to North Korea is located, has renovated an old observatory into an ecological park.
On the way to the observatory, we will cross the suspension bridge. If you cross this bridge, you can reach the Starbucks closest to North Korea. In front of Starbucks, there is an observatory where you can view North Korea and a telescope that you can use for free.
This park consists of an ecological exhibition hall, an observatory, and an ecological trail. In particular, it is beautiful to see the natural scenery and architecture beautifully harmonizing.
Tour course: Meeting place - Aegibong Peace Ecopark - Peace Eco Exhibition Hall - Jogang Observatory (Starbucks Observatory) - Hyundai Outlet - Drop off City Hall.

From the very beginning, she was beyond helpful, even guiding us on how to reach the meeting point via public transportation, which made everything so much easier. AJ is a wonderful person—genuinely attentive, kind, and always listening to the group’s needs. She has such a great sense of humor and a radiant positive energy that made the entire experience fun and relaxed. She truly knows how to create a superb group atmosphere! 5.00AJ with Seoul city tours was amazing. She is so energetic and a great at story telling. She made the experience so much better. The history, the information and the stories were amazing. I heard other tour guides at the observatory and they said similar information but when AJ said them it was more more interesting. She really grabs your attention and makes the way she says the information makes a huge difference. I am so glad she was our tour guide I don't think I would have enjoyed this tour as much if it was not for her. The bus picked us up right on time. They took care of admission. Make sure to bring your passport. It was a great length of time. Honestly if it was an hour more it would be nice because there is so much to see and I would hear AJ give us a lot more information. Since the tour was in the morning there was not much of a crowd but as the afternoon progressed there were more and more people. I think this is great it's not a long tour so you still have the whole day to do other things. I think it was amazing and love AJ.

5.00The DMZ Starbucks Observatory tour was a perfect way to add a short educational experience to our Seoul trip. As a Korean American, I had a rough understanding of the Korean War and the separation of North/South Korea, but AJ did a wonderful job of giving an informative and engaging overview of the events surrounding this hard hitting topic. Now I want to do more research on what we learned and saw! It was surreal being able to see real North Koreans through the binoculars are the observatory. I’ll be processing this trip for a while!
