You can see the open sky, the flowing river, and the North Korean land beyond Starbucks.
Aegibong Ecological Park, where the Starbucks closest to North Korea is located, has renovated an old observatory into an ecological park.
On the way to the observatory, we will cross the suspension bridge. If you cross this bridge, you can reach the Starbucks closest to North Korea. In front of Starbucks, there is an observatory where you can view North Korea and a telescope that you can use for free.
This park consists of an ecological exhibition hall, an observatory, and an ecological trail. In particular, it is beautiful to see the natural scenery and architecture beautifully harmonizing.
Tour course: Meeting place - Aegibong Peace Ecopark - Peace Eco Exhibition Hall - Jogang Observatory (Starbucks Observatory) - Hyundai Outlet - Drop off City Hall.

5.00Jun gave an awesome tour for us! We loved that the tour was not fully guided; there was a good amount of free time, and the Starbucks experience was amazing. You really don’t need to go to any other spots to experience the DMZ.

5.00Mr. Im, our guide, was very fluent in Japanese and had no trouble with the language. On the way out, it was very meaningful because there was a commentary on the history of the Korean Peninsula in Japanese, and I was able to visit the observatory and Starbucks after learning the background. I think it was a tour worth the time and money.

5.00I recently joined a DMZ tour with Seoul City Tour, and it was an unforgettable and eye-opening experience. Our guide, Lily, was absolutely fantastic. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the Korean peninsula, the significance of the DMZ, and the current situation between North and South Korea. Lily explained everything with clarity and enthusiasm, making even complex historical events easy to understand. She was also very attentive, answered every question thoughtfully, and ensured the group felt comfortable and informed throughout the tour. Thanks to her insight and storytelling, I walked away with a much deeper understanding of the DMZ and its importance. I highly recommend this tour—and especially Lily—for anyone visiting South Korea and wanting a meaningful, educational experience
