5.00The light show wasnt quite a light show that many on the boat assumed. It was just the buildings with lights flashing on and off. But the Hongkong skyline was gorgeous and this boat ride was well worth it.

3.00The boat crew was wonderful and accommodating. However, the 45 min on the water wasn’t something I’d recommend. The “light show” is on the top of the buildings and can be seen from both Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. While this wasn’t an expensive activity, it did feel like an unnecessary expense and I would have preferred to spend money on a different activity.

5.00We booked a night cruise with Starlight Harbor for the hour after the nightly light show, and it was absolutely perfect. There were nine of us, and we had the entire top deck to ourselves. The crew was wonderful—very attentive, bringing out drinks and even providing blankets. The seating was comfortable and well laid out, making it easy to relax and enjoy the views. We were able to take amazing photos of the Hong Kong skyline and with the captain as well. Everything about the experience felt smooth and thoughtful. As a nice bonus, they even offered to drop us off at Central if we wanted. Highly recommended for a special and memorable evening on the water.

5.00Cruise was great, staff were very friendly and helpful in taking family pictures for us. Greatly appreciate all their suggestions and tips to experience the best views and sights. The ‘Light Show’ was a disappointment, its just a few bldg light sequences from the skyscrapers around, not like a coordinated light or laser show

5.00Nice boat and friendly staff offered free drinks and snacks throughout. The ‘light show’ only lasted 10 mins. Thought it was going to be mostly laser lights but the majority was buildings lighting up in time to the music. Short trip but we enjoyed it.

3.00It’s about a 30 minute boat trip to position you to view the nightly 8pm light show. The boat was very full, we had pretty good viewing seats but I’d suggest selecting a boat were you could walk around and change your view point if needed. Light show last for 15 minutes with synchronous lighting effects around the numerous spectacular buildings of Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. The boat piped pre recorded music to the light show. I had a couple of beers ( soft drinks available within ticket cost). Personally I thought the best view was of the Hong Kong Island side which we didn’t have a great view of and the boat captain didn’t move the boat to ensure the best views were alternated. As a result on this occasion I think it might have been better to view the show from the ‘Avenue of stars’ on the Kowloon shoreline?. It’s a definite must do experience but choose were to view from !
