Our first stop along the route. We pause in the water for a photo op. Note that you do NOT leave the boat. Rising from Liberty Island, this symbol of freedom stands 305 feet tall. Lady Liberty was a gift from France in 1886 representing democracy and friendship between the two nations.

4.00We booked the tour through get your guide. On arrival we were offered an upgrade to VIP for $25 US . This the only way you get to have good views. The VIP section is the top deck cabin and the space outside it. The upgrade did make the trip pricey but was worth it. It was incredible how many people were crammed into the lower decks. The views were great and we enjoyed the tour.

1.00We pre booked this cruise for 3 persons. We paid around £30 each via booking.com. We attended early for the 14:00 tour around the Hudson River in New York. Having already paid the £30 fee, we were told that if we wanted to sit around the outside of the ship or I the front of the ship, we would have to pay a further 35 dollars and get an upgrade. This was not explained prior to purchasing the standard ticket. There was no safety briefing and from what I could see, no life jackets for the approximately 250 persons on board. I can’t believe in this day and age that a company could get away with such behaviour. I would urge anyone thinking about a cruise to see the Statue of Liberty, to give this company a wide berth.

1.00AVOID !!!! with a standard ticket there is not even a seat included ! Before the cruise starts the crewmember is trying to sell you a $25 upgrade to be allowed to left and right hand outside of the ship and the back of the ship , otherwise you are not allowed to enter these areas ! The seating area inside has got no proper rows of seats only camping chairs and tables . Not enough seats for all the people on board. Customers with small infants or customers which are elderly and cannot stand have got no chance to sit down on this cruise. The VIP upgrade for $25 is a scam. It’s disgusting !!! no proper safety briefing. One out of three ladies toilets was blocked off and broken. AVOID THIS COMPANY ! so many customers complaining and unhappy.

1.00Brutal service, we were told we would be aloud on top deck and get free food. But when we got onto the boat we were squished on the middle deck like sardines and were told we have to pay another 30/40 dollars to get onto the top deck. Do not use this service. Very misleading and staff aren’t friendly or helpful. A lot of people got off the boat after getting on

1.00This boat ride was a total scam. They had nowhere for the 200 people to sit on this boat ride and it was 39° out. usually you can sit inside at tables or plastic benches - they had 15 fold up chairs. If you went upstairs they had maybe 20 seats but that was considered the VIP tour and it was an additional $25. In the VIP section you got a fold up chair and a drink. Viator would not refund my money the company would not refund my money. I am deeply deeply disappointed after doing several tours in New York with Viator. I think I'm gonna call the Better Business Bureau of New York. I don't think they even had enough vests. Shame on Viator for even using that company
False advertisement of price and boat access

1.00Do NOT choose this company. Packed us in like sardines into 40% of the boat. Then made an announcement, if we wanted to use/sit the side and or the front or the inside seats we had to pay $20 per person more!!! They called it VIP access- shaqmeful!!!!This was NOT on their website. We were shoulder to shoulder, people holding their children, The picture of the boat on the website with people inside and out on all sides is untrue-they do NOT open the entire boat- they charge you!!!! Awful. Elderly people and children had no where to go , no where to hold onto. Awful

5.00VIP upgrade to sit inside upstairs is pricey. Great views from downstairs. Obviously gets crowded outside as you get to Statue of Liberty. Best to stay outside if weather permits.

5.00He was an exceptional tour guide, combining humor with insightful commentary about the site's history and significance. I truly appreciated all the detailed information he shared about the landmarks and local culture. The interior of the boat was notably warm, creating a comfortable atmosphere despite the outdoor conditions. This was my second experience of this kind, having previously participated with a different company, and I found this one to be particularly enjoyable and well-organized.

5.00Amazing time! Definitely recommend the upgrade so you are on the inside with seats plus you get $30 of food and drink vouchers. Darius was the best guide!
