  Excellent excursion and boat ride. Staff was great. Excellent communication with tour operator. The sites were awesome! Great view of all sites visited.

  Fun trip for all ages! Be sure to arrive early. We were there at 25 minutes before our departure and the top deck was almost completely full. So if you want to sit up there in the open air, arrive early! As it turned out, I prefer the indoor area with comfortable chairs and big windows. You can easily walk around, or go outside if you choose. They offer some simple snacks and drinks on the ship. It seems that you can bring food aboard if you wish. Our Viking cruise ship arrived at the dock in town at about five minutes before 10 (the tour time we had selected), although we raced to the boat, it pulled out just as we got there. Fortunately, the staff said we could go on the next trip in two hours. So if you’re arriving by cruise ship, you might not want to book the 10 am trip! Our trip was in August, and although it was breezy, it was not cold.

  We all really enjoyed this boat outing! The scenery is amazing, and the crew was fun and well trained. We got right under the waterfall, which was wet but wonderful!

  My rating is based on My Holidays Online and their misrepresentations, and would give it a lower rating than one star if given that option. My recommendation is Do not book with this company…” My Holidays Online” They not even based in Norway, they are a UK company and have appear to have no presence in Norway. They are a reseller, charging a very large premium and do not deliver what they describe. I contacted Viator showing the lesser cost options available for this tour and was rejected. I sent messages to them thru Viator several days and times prior to the day of the tour looking for more complete info. I received no replies. I spoke with several others with the same booking and their experience was the same. My observations… 1. “You will meet your professional guide with an easy 5 minute walk from the cruise port”. There was nobody from the company at the port to meet or direct us. We eventually figured out that the tour was the RODNE FJORD CRUISE… Fjord cruise Lyseford & Preikestolen. 2. It was not an easy walk if following their “directions”. Map provided was not of the port and wharf area, so was useless. 3. The description indicates there would be a guide …” hear tales of local history and legends from your guide”. Not true, no guide, just the boat captain and crew selling drinks and snacks. 4. “ taste clear mountain waters from the Hengjane falls”. Not true. This is a boat ride and you will simply ride past the falls. This was a nice boat ride, my complaints are with My Holidays Online.

  This really scenic. Beautiful. My only complaints are that their sound system isn’t very good. We could barely hear her when we were on the outside. When we were inside we couldn’t hear at all. Also, it said it would be 3 1/2 - 4 hours and we were back after 2 1/2 hours. It was so beautiful I still recommend it. They took us really close to each waterfall.
