  Comfortable boat with a cafe and lots of great viewing positions inside and outside. Our guide Matilda was perky and delivered her scripted tour with charm and humor on a microphone with clear and audible sound throughout the boat. She also took time to mingle with guests. One of the unique things about this tour is its frequent use of music to help illustrate the history of Sweden and Stockholm, including traditional songs and an overview of Swedish pop, including (of course!) ABBA. Most of the shoreline sights are during the first and last quarters of the cruise because the closest-in islands are more heavily populated. During the middle of the cruise we enjoyed a tasting of 3 Swedish akvavits and 1 vodka, along with a cookie and some water (plenty for the two of us, about $70), while we viewed the natural terrain on the islands farther out.

  I was very impressed with the boat - extremely comfortable and not over filled - enough seats for everyone. We were lucky to get a gorgeous day weather wise - though out at sea the wind was a bit chilly - but there were plenty of blankets to cover bare legs etc. The commentary from the 'live guide' wasn't up to much to be honest. Only complaint was the very poor and inaccurate meeting point instructions - not sure these were the operator's fault or trip advisers.

  We were fortunate to catch one of the last of these tours for the summer, and had good weather as well. The tour took us eastward, out of the city, to some of the adjacent islands where local residents have their summer homes. While it doesn't go as far as Vaxholm, it does give you a good sense of the landscape of this region, and overall was a pleasant cruise. On the return trip, the ship goes past several of the landmarks around central Stockholm as well (around Djurgarden, Skeppsholmen, etc.). Two guides provided narration in English and German, providing just the right amount of information. Food and beverages were available for purchase onboard as well, ranging from coffee and "Kanellbullar" (cinnamon rolls) to a full set menu of different Swedish delicacies. If you don't have a whole day to explore the archipelago, and just would like a sample of it, this is a good, relaxed option for doing so.

  We had a relaxing 2.5-hour Summer Ride tour through the Stockholm archipelago! It was an entertaining boat trip with commentary in German and English! We had a blast, even though it rained heavily for a short time! We highly recommend the tour!

  We had a great boat tour, were greeted very friendly by dear Maja and entertained 2.5 hours. Definitely worth it. All super kids and dogs friendly!
