  My sister and I visited Stockport Gin yesterday for the distillery tour and gin tasting! It was really good and I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Paul told us all about Stockport Gin and how he and his wife Cheryl first started off, it was great to hear how well they have done. When we arrived we were given a large gin and then another to take through with us. Paul explained the whole process to us and then we got to try all the gins they make.   We enjoyed our time at the Gin experience.Paul was generous with the G&Ts(2) while he talked eloquently through the history of gin making and his and Cheryl’s own journey. Then followed a tour of their own distillery and again tasters of their unique blends - each one Paul described in detail. A thoroughly enjoyable fun afternoon and a real asset to Stockport’s visitor attractions.

  Had a great time this weekend on the gin tasting and tour with my husband. The tour was really interesting and Paul was very knowledgeable and open to answering any questions. I would recommend this to anyone... a great experience!

  We all thoroughly enjoyed our gin tour. Our hostess was so passionate and knowledgeable and brought the history of gin alive whilst pouring some incredible blends for us to taste. I was fascinated to learn about the journey of Stockport gin and how it came to have its distinct flavours. I left a little bit tipsy admittedly and our group really enjoyed this gem of a to do in our local town. Our host Venessa was a class act and brought so much warmth and enthusiasm to the trip. I would highly recommend this to those wanting to find a real Stockport excursion with friends or family .

  We did the Gin tour as a couple for my husband’s birthday. It was great fun, really informative and interesting. I have actually now done the tour 3 times and still enjoyed it as much as my first time nearly 5 years ago. Thank you highly recommend.

  We did the Gin School experience as a couple for my husband’s birthday. It was great fun, really informative and interesting. We’re local and love Stockport Gin already so to find out about the origins of the business and how the product is made was great.   We had a fantastic time enjoying the tour and excellent gin to sample too. The host whose name i forget (she was Australian) was an excellent host. We even bought some gin to take home with us. All in all i would recommend very highly. Thank you so much.

  My partner bought me this tasting experience. I was slightly dubious as wether it was my thing. Turned out,i loved the whole thing. Our guide,proprietor,owner,distiller man of many talents, Paul, was very knowledgeable informative,interesting and passionate about his business. His enthusiasm was infectious and we both had a really enjoyable afternoon. The gins we tasted were all excellent and i was very pleased with the result and taste of how our gin turned out. Paul advised us all regarding quantities of botanicals etc and the outcome was very subtle and pleasing. So.all in all, a cracking afternoon,provided by a really nice guy in comfortable surroundings, plenty of lovely gin a good time had by all. I would thoroughly recommend the whole experience,a great gift for a loved one or friend who likes a drink. To Paul and Cheryl.
