Stockport is an amazing food destination just waiting to be uncovered. It is the home to one of the most exciting, young and up and coming food neighborhoods in the country.
During the tour, we visited 6 local businesses. and enjoy a dish that each is famous for. We'll meet the vendors and hear their stories as well as learning how Stockport is transforming from a sleepy satellite town to one of the most talked about areas in the North. Full of amazing street art and weird and wonderful history, the Stockport food tour is a great way to explore a new town and be introduced to award winning flavors and tastes.

St Petersgate Bridge
Not just a bridge, this street contains some real hidden gems of Stockport's food and drink scene. We'll be popping in to locally run businesses to say hello and try some amazing flavors and bites along our route.
Stockport Victorian Market Hall
What was once an old Produce hall is now one of the North West's best food markets. We'll enjoy a reserved seat as we feast on dishes from a few of the local vendors. It's a fascinating building that has retained a lot of its old worldly charms and has become a focal point for the local community.

5.00A brilliant way to spend three hours, I’ve lived in Stockport for 11 years and we were introduced to places I had no idea were here, food I’d never eaten before, and we got a behind the scenes peek at a Stockport institution. James is so knowledgeable and we just had a great time. Stockport has a growing reputation as a food destination so it’s great to have a way in for exploring some of the hidden gems Stockport has to offer. Now planning to do one of the Manchester tours next year!

5.00The tour guide is so well versed on the area. Most interesting history and quaint shops. The clock at Winters is a real find! If concerned, less walking than the Manchester tour.
