I was in Zanzibar in November 2024 for my honeymoon/holiday. My wife me made one of the most beautiful encounters of our stay. Ammary is a young Francophone Zanzibaris Guide. I was immediately amazed by his youth, but also by his mastery of his subject. We took a sea trip on a very charming boat , we had a hearty lunch there. Then we visited Stonetown, Ammary showed us the city from all angles very pedagogue he explained the history of the city , the brewing , the past of the slave trade but especially the future... Zanzibar thanks to Ammary is no longer just a paradise island with beautiful beaches for us, but an important part of African history. I recommend Ammary for your visits to Zanzibar, she is a pearl.

Ammary is a really great guide. He showed us the unmissable sights of stone Town but also hidden places. He is kind, smiling, joker and very interesting. He told us a lot about his city and his country. We recommend it 100%. Do not hesitate to ask him other visits of the places around (Island prison...) he will make you a tailor-made day. The tour of the city was great! Our Guide Amari spoke French and was really friendly. We were able to see the iconic places of Stone Town with a lot of explanation and good humor. I highly recommend it.
