We will pick you up at your Hotel and the guide will take you around some beautifull towns around Antigua that you probably wouldn't visit without a local guide. There you will try incredible and unique street food dishes made by the locals themselves, each place will be a delicious surprise for you.
You will learn about the history and culture of each town you visit. All locations are family businesses with unique recipes.

you will discover the street foods of Antigua as well as the surrounding magics towns that you would otherwise miss. We pick you up and drive you around to the best local spots. If you are nervous about trying street food since you are uncertain about the cleanliness standards, then this tour is perfect for you. The guide will ensure that everything you eat is not only delicious but safe! On this tour, you will get to sample Guatemalan sandwiches (shuco), churros, tortillas con carne, as well as desserts. Another great advantage of being on this tour is that you will meet some fellow travelers to enjoy this experience together! The tour lasts for about 2.30 to 3 hours and starts at 7 pm.

5.00Milton is so personable and will make your food tour a 10/10 experience. Whether you’re with a group of friends or going solo like I did, this is the perfect way to end your night. He’s put so much thought into the places he’s picked, and I felt like I had the chance to see their culture through the Guatemalan food that locals eat every day. His thought and intentionality of making this tour is so evident, and it was truly the best!

5.00I had a wonderful time on this tour. My favorite part of this tour is you eat local street food from nearby towns and not directly in Antigua. The experience felt authentic and we were able to eat like a local and support local businesses. The food was great as well

5.00Milton’s street food tour was so great! He picked us up from our hotel at 715 and we returned at 10. My husband and I were in a group with four other women, who were very nice and it was great to be in a small group. The food was amazing and it’s all local families, clean stalls, and it’s very clear he put a lot of thought into the tour and he deeply cares about his community. Every place we went to was full of locals, which is exactly what I wanted. Thank you Milton for taking us around your hometown!

5.00Milton really knows his stuff. He made a promise at the beginning of the tour that we would not leave hungry and that we would eat delicious food. It is safe to say he 1000% lives up to that promise. Everything we had was delicious! I especially appreciated the little nuggets of history at each stop. Milton killed it!

5.00After experiencing Milton’s Market Tour & Cooking Class with my husband in March, my girlfriend & I were thrilled he was able to take us on the evening Food Truck Tour…. It was AMAZING!! Milton took us to several towns around Antigua (including his own). We felt like locals as we sampled food from the various communities. Milton has done all the research & found the “best of the best”… we gave everyplace we tried a solid 10 out 10! The final stop was dessert. I’ve never had churros like this before, crispy on the outside but tender, doughy perfection on the inside. Don’t miss this one!

5.00The food tour with Fooditenango’s founder Milton was amazing. Milton is such a kind and friendly person. He picked me up at my hotel and we headed to multiple towns near Antigua for authentic Guatemalan food. It was nice to see more of the area and learn about the kinds of food and preparation techniques used throughout the region. Milton put so much research into this tour, finding places with unique flavors and clean preparation techniques. I am a seasoned traveler but if you aren’t used to street food, I know this will meet and exceed expectations because he considered that in his research before selecting these locations. I went solo but the tour perfect for groups or solo travelers.

5.00This food tour was one of the best things I’ve done while traveling. Milton is a natural guide who is thoughtful, funny, and deeply connected to the city. Every stop felt like a hidden gem, and the food was unbelievable. We went to five different places, and each one had a story behind it. It felt like walking through Antigua with a friend who knows where all the good stuff is and loves sharing it. I left full, happy, and already recommending it to everyone I know. If you want to eat well and connect to the real Antigua, go with Milton. Simple as that.
