Alvaro David was a terrific street food tour guide. Nine stops in 2.5 hours. We were so full there was no need for dinner.

We had a great time with Robert. He was kind explaining everything for us to understand the food and culture and a bunch of jokes!! The tour was very accommodating with food changes if you couldn’t eat what was offered. We walked about 2 miles and he waited to make sure everyone was together.

This experience was a 10 out of 10! If visiting Cartagena for the first time it is a great way to discover popular local foods while learning about how they originated. Our guide Robert from Nexperience was the absolute best!!! The foods we tried differed in variety so there was something for everyone. There were modifications made for guests with certain dietary restrictions so nobody was left out at each stop. Definitely come to the excursion hungry, we received much more food than anticipated and that is not a complaint!

This tour was fantastic and such a great way to experience Cartagena through food. Robert was an awesome guide – friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about local cuisine and culture. The tour was well structured, moving through different areas and food stops without feeling overwhelming. The patacones were a standout for me, and the ceviche was incredibly fresh and flavorful. I also really loved learning about Colombian coffee – not just drinking it, but actually understanding the process and cultural importance behind it. Everything felt thoughtfully planned, with generous portions and plenty of time at each stop to enjoy the food and ask questions. If you like food tours that feel authentic and not rushed, this one is a must.

My husband and I had the best time on this guided walk! Àlvaro was an excellent and knowledgeable leader. The food choices were all excellent, from the first stop (a yummy Colombian shrimp cocktail) to the last (a fabulous chicken soup that we plan to make at home). The hardest part was having only a small portion at each of the 9 stops to make sure we could sample everything! Highly recommend this you're, especially if Àlvaro can be your guide!

It was a great experience and we got to try a lot of different foods! You do not need to eat beforehand! Robert was an excellent guide and we had a good time as a group.

The walk was incredibly delicious! Very nice to learn about local history through the food - for those who like, a full plate, literally! Our guide Yau was very attentive and pleasant, we talked a lot! There are many stops and in the end we were very satisfied! Haha highly recommend!
