5.00David was fantastic, he was early and what out of his way to ensure I had a culturally grounded experience. We walked over 12k steps around Santiago and earned every bit of tasty food. David has a passion for his services, and speaks great English and Spanish. Highly recommended.

5.00Lovely time spent with David. We tried lots of different food, and it was our introduction to eating in the city. Even if you’re only in Santiago for one day I recommend this tour! In between restaurants we walked around the city center (so you get some culture with the tour as well!).

5.00David was a fantastic guide who was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He tailored our tour around our preferences and his selection of food stops included fantastic seafood at the Central Market and a traditional Chilean savoury pie, as well as a pisco sour. The tour also showed us many parts of central Santiago, with opportunities to look inside some of the buildings and shops. Highly recommend his tour.

More of a city tour, than a food tour

2.00As the title says, if this had been described as a walking city tour with food stops, this would have been a five star review. However, as described, this is not a food tour in my opinion. We tried 4 things in the 3 hours for which we paid £47 per person (April 2026) - empanada pino, Mote con huesillo (drink), a completo (hotdog) and a terremoto (drink). That said, our tour guide Maria was delightful and she gave us many insights into the city that we otherwise would not have known - she showed us sights and walked us through different areas and parks we would likely have not explored by ourselves. She also explained that the foods listed in the tour description are out of season which is fair but should have been communicated before we booked the tour. So this review is not a reflection on our guide who was great...but more on the description of what we paid for and expected vs. what we got.

5.00This was a fantastic food tour. We were provided with clear meeting instructions ahead of time and any possible allergies were also discussed. The tour itself was informative about the area and local culture. The food is full portions, not small bites. Be prepared for this as it is all delicious and easy to get full. I would do this tour again!
