Take part in the sunset trek on the Sciara del Fuoco.
Discover this little island of fire in the vast blue sea, and enjoy a fantastic view of the beautiful surrounding landscape.
Meet your guide and depart from Piazza San Vincenzo 2 hours before sunset.
After a safety briefing, begin your hike from a nature trail that takes you to 400 meters, the maximum altitude allowed with a Volcanology guide. Enjoy the spectacular view of the summit craters and the Sciara del Fuoco. During the trek, take breaks to admire the views and also visit the island's old cemetery. Cross the Mediterranean scrub, accompanied by the constant view of Strombolicchio.
Upon the panoramic arrival on the Sciara del Fuoco, admire the sunset that colors the Aeolian archipelago red and observe the volcanic eruptions that illuminate the night sky. Return downhill in the dark, equipped with torches, to the starting point.

5.00Amazing experience! The explosions are so impressive when you up there. The guide, Giuseppe, was really kind and he helped me in moments i was a bit scared of the path. The descent in the dark was so beautiful when all you hear is explosions, crickets singing and you see the stars. Absolutly amazing!

5.00We had a fabulous evening. The trek was fast paced. Giuseppe was our guide, he was very informative and was good at keeping the group together and safe. We were so lucky with the volcanic eruptions.

5.00Beautiful experience with two very prepared guides, kind, helpful and even nice! Amazing sight to see the Stromboli erupt and ignite at night, something unique, to see absolutely at least once in a lifetime. Highly recommended!!!

5.00Wow, what a fantastic experience! It’s a tough climb if you’re 60+ and moderately fit, but really worth it. Our guides, Nino and Frederico, were first class. I’d highly recommend booking with this company, you will not be disappointed!
