For your own safety, explorers on this activity must be able to safely navigate backward through a 12-step ladder (handrails available).
For your own safety, the minimum required height is 3ft and 4 years old, for children
Children are considered from 4 years to 16 years. No infants allowed ( babies to 3 years old)
All participants must pay a ticket and all the children must be always with an adult.
Pregnant, without previous complications, can carry out the activity up to the 6th month of pregnancy.
Access in a bathing suit and / or barefoot is not allowed.
Pets are not allowed.
Only 1 personal item like a purse or small handbag is allowed, and it must fit in your lap. Dimensions should not exceed 18 x 14 x 8 inches
Additionally, a 13 USD Marine Park fee must be paid by person.
Additional services have an extra cost (photos or souvenirs).
Tour operation subject to permissible weather conditions.
Atlantis Submarines Cozumel reserves the right to refuse admission in case of adverse conditions for the safety of our passengers.
If you do not follow and / or do not comply with the indicated safety instructions, you will not be allowed to continue with the activity and refund does not apply in this situation.

Please check in at our facilities at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Upon arrival at Atlantis Submarines Cozumel, our friendly hosts will welcome you, assist with check-in, and guide you to our exclusive Explorers’ Lounge. You’ll relax briefly in the departure lounge, watch a short introductory video, and then board our passenger boat for the transfer to the dive site, where your underwater adventure begins.

1.00We had a 3:15 booking that was supposed to take two hours. We received an email morning of saying to be there 40 minutes prior to our time. We arrived on time and were told to com back at 3:15 and that they were behind at least 30 minutes. We had to be back on our cruise ship at 5:30 and could have done the tour if it operated on schedule. We were unable to attend but were issued a full refund. Just disappointing but we had no alternative times as we snorkeled in the morning and then wanted to ride the sub in the afternoon. We had other friends who took the tour earlier in the day and enjoyed it. I would book it in the morning if it is at the top of your list of things to do in Cozumel. We viewed snorkeling as our top priority and did that in the morning before attempting to sneak in this tour. Would have been nice to receive a call/text/email letting us know they were behind before we got there.

5.00There were four of us at the beginning of the tour, we picked up the rest of the tour group at another location. It was a full submarine. After a short safety lecture and then a ride on our motor boat, we arrived at the submarine and were escorted into the sub, it was close quarters, side by side and back to back, with a porthole right in front of us, it was not claustrophobic at all. The view was excellent and the ride smooth. We went all the way down to 114 feet and it took about two hours to do the whole trip. It was informative, the tour guide was well versed about the sea creatures. We even saw a nurse shark and lots of very colorful fish. This trip was very well planned with safety the primary concern. Yes, we will go again.

5.00Well organized and well run. As a Maritime professional, I liked what I saw, safety briefings were thorough and equipment looked to be in good condition. All crew were professional and very friendly. A great opportunity for my non-diving friend to experience the sights beneath the sea.

2.00We booked this submarine in November of 2025 and again in January 2026. Both times it cancelled. Not reliable but the people at the office are very friendly and apologetic.

5.00It is a very well organized and structured activity. It's quite an experience to go 110 feet underwater near the coral reef!
Peaceful landscape, veiled movement under the sea. Treasure that is not hidden and that causes not to lose track of its worth.
