Arctic Landscapes is a road-trip in the coastal area of Tromsø that contributes to scientific research. On this tour you'll discover places with breath-taking sceneries, you'll have a chance to take the best photos and get to enjoy home-made food on a picnic in the Arctic. Meanwhile, contributing as a citizen scientist! Come and join a ride in the countryside of Tromsø with us and leave a positive impact on our local community and ecosystems!

When exceptional situations arise (e.g. weather cancellations) it is important to reach you. Make sure you provide your contact on the road (phone number + correct country code)

Please be prepared for limited toilet facilities, there will be a gas station stop during the drive, however the camp itself is in the wild Arctic nature where the only toilet possibilities are in the forest (there are no pre-built facilities
Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if less than 3 passengers per tour. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund

5.00Our guide Roman was a real gem! He was informative on so many levels! We learned so much in a short time about the Northern Lights because he actually chases them! He too is to a few special Fords on our trip as well as the Local beach! We enjoyed so much the healthy sandwiches and amazing homemade oatmeal cookies that were outstanding! He also took professional fotos for anyone who desired! I highly recommend this tour!

4.00It was great apart from the weather which was impossible to control Our guide was knowledgeable and taught us loads. Really enjoyed it. Only downside was we have not received the photos or link we had been promised. Had filled in the waiver form and our email is known. So disappointed about that.

5.00Gerard took us to Sommaroya which was an amazing experience and such a beautiful place to see. We picnicked by the beach with delicious sandwiches and even ran into some reindeer.

5.00We had a 4 hour private tour with Gerard from Citizen Science in Tromso. Gerard was a fantastic guide and this was a highlight of our trip through Norway. Gerard is very knowledgeable about European history and Norway in particular. He made every effort to make our trip memorable including making a delightful picnic lunch and sharing photos and videos that he took with professional equipment. We would highly recommend this tour with Gerard. It was the perfect half day tour. This cruise we chose to book our own personal tours rather than our ship tours and were extremely happy with that decision. Booking a personal tour ahead of time has proven to be more intimate, flexible and cheaper. We would give Gerard 10 stars!

5.00Amazing experience! Our guide Romain was super friendly and shared lots of interesting facts. Stunning scenery, even spotted a reindeer! I dipped into the crystal-clear freezing sea, and we enjoyed delicious drinks and cookies. Absolutely worth it — highly recommended!
