  Horrible. Don’t waste your money. Dangerous thunderstorms and no place to go to get out of weather. The advertising is false. No pool since hurricane in 2019. Once dropped off you are stuck until your pick up time. We were furious about the pool situation and the offered no refund.

  Thank you Ricardo for introducing us to Rico Suave (the iguana) and for explaining everything so well. We enjoyed this excursion and only reserved the rating to a four due to the early confusion about boarding: the company had no one to greet us at Elizabeth on the Bay.

  This was an excursion booked through Royal Caribbean and it was horrible. This was not only a Royal Caribbean excursion but included 3 other cruise ships so it was extremely crowded. The original meeting time was 8:45am and was moved to 9:45am. The boat going out to the island was extremely run down, smoking and over crowded. Once on the island, there was very little guidance given. We had a bracelet that gave the "time slot" for snorkeling which was not clear that we would only have 30 mins of snorkeling in what was supposed to be a 5 hour excursion. We had 1 hour prior to our "snorkeling time slot" and we were just told to look around. Luckily we could get in the water to wait for our time. Once our time arrived, there was such chaos in trying to get the equipment and NO directions at all. Our time slot was at 12 and we were told 30 mins in the water. Then we were extremely rushed to get into the water. The steps leading into the water are extremely slippery and very dangerous. The sunken items are nothing special and we were not impressed at all. Once our 30 mins were up, we were done. We had to ask around to other guests to find the lunch that was included with the tour. The music was so loud, you could not even talk to the servers. The food was nothing special, it was BBQ chicken legs, fish fingers, cole slaw that had been sitting out in the heat and rice with beans. NOT worth the money at all. We were told the boat to get back to the ship would leave at 2pm and to be back at the meeting place by 1:50pm. We actually did not load the boat until 2:06pm and even then, they had to speed back because Royal had an all aboard time at 2:30pm We were met by a Royal employee telling everyone to go back to the ship immediately. We made it back, but under alot of stress. The entire excursion was horrible and I would not recommend to anyone, no matter what ship you are on. Royal needs to stop offering this as an excursion. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

• ONE single iguana

  Was very disappointed with this experience. Although the staff was friendly, we left about 25 minutes later than the indicated time, lunch left a lot to be desired. After lunch we found “iguana cay” not knowing that was actually our iguana encounter, we went in, held the ONE iguana that was in there and were ushered out within a few minutes. I would suggest if you are going specifically for the iguanas, find a different venue. This was not worth it for ONE iguana

  Snorkeling wasn’t worth doing at all. Operators didn’t organize the start well and then got us back to pier when the ship was already boarding (late). While the staff was pleasant and the food was okay, none of this excursion was worth the money spent…maybe if they repriced by 50% it would be, but even then … wasn’t worth it at all.

  It’s a nice island to relax on, the Lunch included with our day was the best part I could eat the fish they served every day for the rest of my life, just delicious! A little under water garden was pretty anticlimactic compared to the photos and how it’s made to seem but it was still nice to be out in the water and see a few schools of fish passing through. Overall a great day trip to relax in a more laid back area just enjoying the sunshine and salt water

  This excursion was not what it was written up to be. We were there for a total of 5 hours including boat ride to and from island and we had 20 of snorkeling in this roped in area. No directions how to use equipment. Handed it to us and said be careful. Food was subpar and not worth it. Ladies room no lights and toilet wouldn’t flush. Not An enjoyable experience at all. Held hostage on this island. Should have stayed in town. Not worth the overpriced time.

  The conch salad was very good. Everything else needed updating. The sunken statues need maintenance and the iguana area needs much updating as well

  Davon with snorkeling and Dragon with Iguanas were amazing host. Leslie was our butler and never let a single need be unmet

  

• Overpriced excursion with false advertising

  We booked the SunCay Sunken Sculpture Snorkel & Iguana Encounter with Lunch excursion on the Carnival cruise for three family members, explicitly requesting vegetarian meals for all. I made this request twice—once during the booking and again at the guest service desk on the cruise—and both times I was assured that vegetarian meals would be provided. To our dismay, during the excursion, the food servers were completely unaware of our special meal request. They offered only peas and rice with coleslaw. My family had to settle for just the rice. This level of service is unacceptable, especially after repeated assurances. Moreover, the excursion was advertised as a guided snorkeling experience, which was completely misleading. We were merely given snorkel gear and brief instructions on how to tie the life jacket, then left on our own with no lifeguards or guides in the water. For first-timers, this made the experience extremely challenging and unsafe. Additionally, we barely saw any sculptures, which was the primary reason for choosing this excursion. Overall, this was the worst and most overpriced excursion we have ever experienced. The false advertising and lack of promised services were disappointing especially from a cruise company like Carnival.
