Dong Sticks is a joyful body-mind practice developed by an elderly master that wanted to remain supple until old age. The sixteen mindful motions supported by a bamboo cane promote agility, joint strength and flexibility, reduced stress, and increased mental clarity and stability. Join us on the beach for a healthy start as we greet the morning sun.

We gather at the beach at the break of dawn, listening to the sound of the waves as it laps the shore. Soaking up the gentle rays of the morning sun, a great source of vitamin D. We begin with breathing exercises to relax the muscles and mind. Your instructor will guide you through the sixteen motions, assisted with a bamboo stick to help stretch, strengthen, and increase flexibility.

Great morning energizing activity to set the intention right for the day! Salam was a patient yet engaging instructor who was able to infuse us with his enthusiasm and infectious energy. Definitely a good way to start the day with increased energy.
